finally have port for unifi, bye bye Digi 150, always unstable, cannot p2p download, if have unifi better stop this expensive plan as nowadays the digi network very congested, digi make high profit by keep on register infinite user, this plan wont stop, will continue infinite.

Sorry to see you go but I guess it's for the better rather than being tormented by DiGi. Another bites the dust, DiGi, please buck up!

I had a similar issue here.  Having a real problem using my TV box with Infinite 150 on a Huawei B310s-22 modem.  Since about 2 months ago, my TV Box was soooooo lag that I can't really watch anything! At first I blame it on my TV Box since speed test shows no speed reduction whatsoever.  The funny thing is that once I connect my TV Box to to my phone tethering with another Digi plan with LIMITED data, everything runs smoothly!  Anyone has similar experience?? Digi has a way to cap speed for TV Box probabaly??
*
It's most probably the speedcap on the Infinite 150 line, even though it is not supposed to be capped.

that is one of a good method for testing. But image file might be too small to see any result.
Better to get a 4-5GB torrent file and FTP download with IDM from your seedbox to check the real speed.
*
Which seedbox service are you using? How about it's reliability?

Test it out with DiGi prepaid sim card first for 4G coverage before signing up. Don't say I didn't warn you.

LOL!!!! They are just trolling you again since they got wind of you making the leap over to the competition. Like the slogan of the year for 2017 " If we cannot beat our competition, we beat our customers". Sounds familiar?

I feel like terminate it to get the celcom wifi. But 2 years contract is a long time. I scared later same thing happen where peak hour is terrible speed. I will try out this weekend by going to blue cube.
*
Yes, better test it out first before getting tied up for 24 months. At least with DiGi Infinite, you can cancel at any time you want. All the best and good luck!

I guess bundled with device is usually 24 months and I supposed there should be a plan without device/contract.

Honestly Digi is not... 150GB vs 1TB.
*
Yes, that is true. Hard to compare apples and oranges, even though both are telco companies, providing so called unlimited data services. The disparity is kinda huge.

i think it is more about download, downloader will more likely to get capped first,. compare to streaming/surfing user
*
Can't say that is entirely true. I sometimes stream 1080p media and on good days it is smooth and without buffering but these days, 50% of the time requires buffering and slow as snails.

I don't even want to mention about downloading contents. Sigh.......

*
That is a decent and average usage per month. 👍👍

Nothing for me to rant here. If speed drops, I may rant, will lodge complaints but I will move on if that doesn't work. Not like I don't have any other options here. whistling.gif I can subscribe to any telco as I like. Even UniFi Mobile is cruising at 50Mbps for me. Worse comes to worst, I go back to UniFi. I was using it before relocated it back to my sister's house which I'm enjoying UniFi 100Mbps at her place now.

Chuah's story is about congested tower, he went to other places, his speed flew. He shared at this thread before and we always chat privately as well for our Digi matters. So not really about Infinite 150 is capped for his case.

Regarding my slow Digi speed (below 1Mbps) during CNY back in hometown, Digi tech team called me on 9th March to inform me it's fixed. I never had the chance to try until yesterday's afternoon when I went back for a short while to pick up my parents back to my sister's house, it was indeed fixed. I can get 20-30Mbps most of the time which is considered good in my hometown.

Seriously, there's no brand loyalty here. If it doesn't work, just move on if complaints don't work. Why wanna look back in the past?

Just because some users are not happy, the happy users cannot share their happy side? Every telco has its pros and cons and we as consumers and customers just choose whichever works the best for us.

I rest my case here.
*
Well said Nicole. In your typical business practice, the customer/consumer is usually right but this is Malaysia we are talking about so do not expect too much. Hence why, there isn't much brand loyalty amongst the consumers.

There is also the reason why we always advice new comers or potential sign-ups to thoroughly check their network status with a prepaid sim before committing to sign up for the Infinite plans.

if get RM150 infinite internet + router what is the maximum speed?

It depends on your location and network congestion at your area. So far, some forumers are able to achieve close to 140mbps.

Hello, I have decided to subscribe to Digi Infinite postpaid 150. I have a question, lets say on certain month I didn't pay 150 as agreed upon for whatever reasons, will i get terminated/blacklisted or the payment will be carried over to the next month with additional charges?
*
Firstly your services will get barred and you will still need to pay for the usage charges. And yes, the overdue amount will be carried forward to the next months bill but I am not sure if they include additional charges like late fee payment.

Received latest bill from Digi with surprise again rclxub.gif and this time Digi is not willing to void / refund any charges from third party subscription activated without consent for customers already. vmad.gif
What could I do since Digi do not want to assist to block the merchant Gameasy, simply contacting the merchant by own getting ignored for the refund request and no valid office address that could visit, I just have to pay blindly for the services that I did not subscribe? cry.gif

CODE
The service will be only subscribed when there is activation from your end sir. We are unable to block such services and it could be only avoided from your end by taking steps as below :
• Read the SMS carefully before giving consent or opting in to the service. Typically the SMS will ask you to type YES or Y in reply to the short code to subscribe.
• Do not click on any links within the SMS as it might lead you to accidentally subscribing to a service.
• Do not subscribe to any services from any unfamiliar or suspicious SMSes.
• Do not click on any suspicious banners or links that indicate you have won a prize.
• Do not enter your mobile number on any unfamiliar or suspicious webpages.
• Do not enter your phone number if a page shows that “your phone has a virus” and asks for your phone number to clear it.
• Beware of ads that may lead you to phishing websites.
• Beware of installing third party apps other than from the official Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
• Beware of granting permissions to third party apps to send SMSes from your phone.

CODE
You lodge the complain to their higher level as any refund on this will be from the respective merchant and not by Digi. Digi does not govern the refund process of the merchants.

CODE
Appreciate if you are able to direct the complain to the merchant at support.my@gameasy.com to inquire on this we are unable to advise on the process for refund which is implemented. However we have also sent the request to refund on your behalf to the merchant.

Is very tiring to follow up and complain these kind of fraud charges every month, been quiet for 2 months and it came back again doh.gif
Is there any preventive measurement that could do at the end of router / modem to avoid such services from being activated without consent by devices / users that using the WiFi? SMS access to the number already locked with password in 4G modem, what else can do to avoid such issue for like every month? shakehead.gif
*
I believe the occurrence has something to do with your modem. I read previously of others facing the same issues as you. Not sure how they managed to solve the problem. Lodging a complain with MCMC/SKMM would be a first step.

Is it worth it owning the modem after paying the contract difference and penalty? I believe it should cost more than RM1500, right?
