let's say assume 16MBps @ 128Mbps, does it make sense that 128Mbps is slower than 70Mbps to you?

Wow! Didn't think DiGi would do that except for P2P. Now that you pointed it out, it does makes sense why the download speeds keep varying from time to time.

this makes me recall my biz68 experience. I remember that time I also get high speed when doing speed test but the download speed was throttled down alot. That time I always thought it was because my 3G modem overheated.

Anyone with AC790s that has correct ENTERCND password mind to help me test one thing?
Try to change to uppercase/lowercase for password to see whether it still valid.
I want to know whether ENTERCND password is case sensitive or not.

Thanks fadzly, in fact your post is the one I'm using trying to modify to get band lock,
but I'm stuck at ENTERCND password as I've tried every password I can find, even tried dictionary attack on 450k+ common words, and still failed.
It's a Zain (Kuwait) version.
Seller claims he have no idea what is that, so either seller lied to me or Zain actually set different password for each device...

There are guides on dump nvram and get the password from there but somehow my ac790s has different flash memory and doesn't compatible with any existing tool to do that.
Now the info I've gathered is:
- password is case-insensitive
- password length from 4 to 10
- password must be alphanumeric only (0-9, a-z)
So my final hope is to brute force it

Hey guys. Recently just subscribed to digi 150. Read through the first pages for the modems, but I thought after 300 pages there would be "the best router to use" out here now.

So which router would you guys recommend? Easy to set up and use.

Is Huawei devices recommended? Or the cheaper dlink alternatives?

And I read some parts about some modems beings sim blocked or something like that.

Got, but problem is the speed is very unstable, i put 1mb-2mb only for qos, but sometime speed can drop to 2-3mb. so no point to set qos

Tower with band 3 is nearby my house while band 7 is 2x the distance.

Should I lock my B525 to band 3+7 or band 3 only?

The thing is I'm getting better speed with band 3 only..or it is always better to lock 2 bands?
