may i know where to get the smart cradle?

thinking to pair my office network to digi infinite.

currently only 1mbps streamyx supported and need to share with 7computers. such a pain to do work.

Any difference between your setup and 790 + 4G MIMO only?

Want to know if smart cradle does anything for signal improvement

Do you have a link where you purchased this 4g antennae?
I have read, there are mixed feelings when people use such antennae, some work and some worst.

digi is unstable, almost a month near my town area still unsolved. i'm lazy to report...

b3 channel some area is missing/undetect.
b7 channel is running in some area so max speed is not good compared b3.

maybe they are testing to run LTE-A soon. not sure how long is gonna be.

my house use,
ping sometimes is high reach 100+ms to digi.
speed not as fast as previous but usable got 20mbps.
open speedtest felt it's slow to detect the server to test.

   

B7 is better for top speed than B3.. higher frequency=bigger capacity.. but lower penetration..

I wonder why my pc connected with tp-link powerlink 200mbps the internet speed is 50% slower than my iphone 6 connected with wireless.

Any idea what the problem? powerlink is slower? network card driver? or network card hardware?

Im thinking to buy an antenna to improve the signal. After did some research i found out that are indoor and outdoor antennas where indoor antennas have higher dbi. Meaning indoor antenna better?

but for some unknown reason.. i don't get any improvement at all ..
faced it all 360 degrees..

All that left.. is to put it up higher than my roof (but it only come with 2m cable) XD

After i saw many post and go do some researching , the antenna might only help u gains the signal at certain dead spots , but if really wan to add more speed u might need the signal booster as well , somemore might need to see ur area , if alot user using network congested even u got full bars also no point . so In this setup might need spend more and might b not so effective … so i gived up d .
Any how my current only put the mifi stick to my glass door …
My download speed can be average at +- 5mb/s … im happy with it : )

Guys.. is possible that i  have bricked this router.. had update the firmware via web gui.. success install till 100%.. then lock band 3 using toolbox.. use ok till afternoon.. and then off the router due to fear lightning.. ON the router again.. resulting this

My seller also get from china with viva telco.. did ask him can update or not.. no problem at all.. and then my router had power light only error

where to buy this mimo antenna ? Is it gooding ?

Today I tested my 3 day old Netgear 790s at my Puchong flats, with Maxis 4g prepaid Sim and then Digi 4g prepaid Sim ( just want to test first before get unlimited plan).

The 790s is with battery power and without any other devices connected. It is set to 5ghz wifi and also set to max wifi transmission strength.

I put 790s 4.5 ft away from back kitchen window. Both Digi and Maxis Sims show full bar.

I then sit at front living room about 25 feet away, with some wall obstruction and tested with my phone wifi connected to 790s. The wifi signal from 790s kind of weak.

Here are the results, at 9pm+ tested Maxis first then Digi.

But pic I posted Digi picture first , then Maxis.

Digi a bit slow during peak hours, but should be touching 20mbps non peak hours. Now waiting for Infinite 80 or Infinite 100 to appear again.

Probably the update is from lmt.
Wow, you can such fast speed, I'm also at Penang, but I can only can 20 Mbps something with E5186.

I can see band 3, 7 and 8 (saw my router connected to it this morning) available in my area, but I never tested the speed for each band, anyway it's a good start to know.
Unfortunately, I can only force the router to select band 3 + 7 with "E5186 Toolbox", coz combination of band 8 is not available in the tool box.

By the way, with the speed test result you got, can you really get 10 MB/s download speed when you download file/video clips?

Bro, AC790s good for low signal area?

Just curious from your previous experience, what's the diff in speed between these two senarios:-

1) 790s near window but sitting at usage area, say 20+ feet away
2) 790s with mimo antenna directly at usage area
