That's strange, VoLTE works for me for all three LTE bands. Having said that, my phone can't lock bands.

i lock band 7 and band 8 easily using the andriod software which fruitie recommend

But not LTE-A with Band 8. Anyway, not important for me because B8 is relatively slower than B3 and B7.

I believe if lock band means hack already. So the modem won't function correctly

I am lucky because after the DiGi upgrade at my area, I am getting close to 130Mbps on CA. I cannot express how happy I am.

mine Digi bloody bad whether band 3..band7 or band 8....all sucky.
that is why i never sub to infinite150

anyway happy with Daily Unlimited RM1 Auto renew....although capped to 3Mbps Down 3Mbps Down
it is still good enough for 720p with occasional buffering
cucuk inside my B618 and it helps a lot as compare to phone or mifi

with HManager...i can check which band have the best download/upload speed
then i lock the band....

I feel you Bro. Glad that the cheaper alternative works for you with some tweaking using the HManager. It is truly a great app for those facing slow connections with their B618.

i just notice my kg got upgraded from 4g to 4g+ ...

based on my speedtest on s7e, not much diff.. if i use b618.. will it help boost the speed and stability ?
