so far no problem at all, just set the drive's jumper to Master, hook it up, then badaboom badabam, all set laugh.gif

btw, really notice the different when use it on old HDD, for burner's no different i think hmm.gif just ease the cable management for me thumbup.gif

I'm using the same Abit too, use it on my old Maxtor 80GB for storage. The HDD perform slightly better than using IDE.

got it from a bulk organize by a forumer here, long time ago, 2-3 years back hmm.gif can't remember when, but i do remember who organize it icon_idea.gif it's Silpheed

try PMing him/her to do it again, iirc, the bulk was so quick, it didn't last for a week

price = RM38 each (Gigabyte & Abit)

this is a OEM Product by Gigabyte, meaning u can't easily get it by simply order the things like say from E-Bay or any other shops... nod.gif

I had no idea how Silpheed got those converter sweat.gif

How is your Abit? Mine can not be use with my NEC DVDRW, windows won't detect. But it is working fine with HDD.
