I bought a 1.8M house and I am IDing to a max budget of 150k. Some people will ask you to reno to certain expectation due to "save face" factor, but I say work towards whatever budget you have.
If 60k, then 60k it is- who cares what price you bought the house. (As long as you don't set 600k expectation on the 60k budget la)
