What kind of warranty by Toyota? If the tint warranty, it will be covered by tint manufacturer. I think it is just a tint company that collaborate with Toyota to give additional "feature" to customer thinking it is from Toyota. How good is the tint in blocking heat? JPJ compliant and tint performance is separate thing. A tint can be lighter or darker but still pass JPJ compliance. Different car may have different percentage in passing visible light. So, when tint is added, it is the combination of both glass and tint that count whether it will pass or fail the JPJ requirement. This one is endorsed by Toyota to be passed. Maybe Toyota get good deal and charge customer at retail tint price. This is just my guess
