So yesterday I picked up the HD DVD movie I have already pre-ordered. I already know that it will look and sound incredible, based on reviews already out. I prepare myself. The aural and visual impact of the movie is incredible. I tell myself "This movie....it's incredible! No, this is blasphemy! This is madness!" Madness? No, no, no. THIS...IS...SPARTA!!

I haven't really played all that much with the other stuff. Just checked out my favourite scenes, compared it with the standard def side. I'll be on leave for a couple of days, so I won't get to check it out until then. And I still have the Matrix trilogy to check out as well...

matrix will look much better than 300....but i recommend u to watch either king kong or hot fuzz....the 1st class reference PQ for HD-DVD...first i didnt believe it about hot fuzzz..but when i watched it yesterday...it was a jaw dropping experience.....

All the pro bro, I would like to know where we could get a HD-DVD player? Better get a player than counting on my xbox add-on one.. cause last night after i update the dashboard, the infamous 3ROD just appear.. have to prepare for worst coming what is the market price if possible to get one.. thank you..

The entry-level Toshiba HD-E1 (Asian/UK voltage) retails for about US$500 in Hong Kong sadly. I hear their prices will be slashed soon. The prices quoted from UK online retailers is not much better as well.

U can get the American version HD-A2 for about US$250-299 excluding shipping cost.

Or u can wait till the 3rd-gen versions are released in Oct 07.

In Malaysia, as far as I know, there's no official products, so have to bring in grey.
