Hi everyone, I have since started looking for my next job. Seeing that my company may not be able to secure new projects, I am concerned about my future as a contract employee (although the contract is 2 years).
I am involved in HUC, mainly assisting the lead commissioning engineer with ITR tracking. I attend meetings every night so I am also aware of the progress of the different disciplines.
I am interested in consultants like RWP, Petrofac etc. Just wondering if the offshore experience will do me any good for my next job? Or I am limited to more HUC job. I don't mind venturing into downstream (background is chemical engineering).

Does this mean that Ranhill Worley will need to hire more engineers to support their scope for Pegaga? Been wanting to join an engineering firm, now seems like a good timing.

QUOTE(ZZMsia @ Mar 23 2018, 03:28 PM) Yes unless their current team can support. Other consultants are hiring. Thanks for the reply. Will start chasing for it.

Ex Petra here too. It's a good opportunity to get into oil and gas. They send fresh graduates to offshore so you get the fast track experience. If you are lucky you might have the chance to do start up for high pressure pump as well.
