As per title, currently my house use all  remote controlled ceiling fan. After 10 years, I think it's a hassle (sometimes the fan susah nak turn on/off, remote controller byk dah rosak, universal remote byk yg tak support)

so now want to change to normal ceiling fan yg guna regulator (is it?) to change the fan speed. So do I need to do rewiring/add extra wiring? Because from my understanding, normal fan need to have 2 wiring, one for on/off, one for regulator right? fan with remote just need wiring for on/off right?
