i did that.. hired a electrician to do that but i have learned to do it
1. remove ur circuit board from fan
2. pasang capacitor
3. pasang regulator a main suis.
or u can refer to this good tered of how to repair ur circuit board cheaply

Change from remote controlled ceiling fan, to normal ceiling fan
