I did the reverse conversation.
Basically the out wire from the fan switch goes to the wall speed controller which connects to the fan.

Quite easy to switch remote to conventional wall speed controller. Just that you need to be extra careful when drilling the wall to mount the speed controller.

The fan should have the installation manual.

Else, get an electrician to install it for you.
