QUOTE(NatBass @ Mar 12 2010, 11:20 PM) Hello there. Im a high school graduate . Just finished my spm and i wish to pursue my studies in NZ. The primary field of my choice is medicine. I heard spm is garbage there , they dont know what it is. So then how do i apply?Would i be able to serve the nz government upon graduating?Must i do my pre-u here or should i do year13(highschool) there first? hmm . Thanks in advance The best way to get into an NZ university after SPM other than going to do your pre-u there would be to do your pre-u here ^^ You can go to places like Taylor's that offers Australian Year 12 programs like SAM or Cambridge A-Levels which are accepted qualifications for entry into NZ universities =)

QUOTE(defectivelasagna @ Mar 28 2010, 11:23 PM) how about a levels? is it just as accepted as SAM? SAM is a good choice as NZ and Aussie does accept each others qualifications so SAM is mostly accepted in NZ.A-Levels is also a very good choice.Depending on what your planning to study A-Levels may be the better choice to gain admission =)

QUOTE(defectivelasagna @ Mar 28 2010, 11:23 PM) how about a levels? is it just as accepted as SAM? Regardless which qualification you took as long as you meet the entry requirements set by the university then it's ok.Most if not all NZ unis accept A-Levels and Australian year 12 programs like SAM,Ausmat etc. SAM has a better timing than A-Levels to apply for February intake though. Are you a 2009 spm leaver? If so I think you just missed the intake dates of SAM as most last intake for Australian Year 12 has started though they might accept you if you register immediately ^^" Or you can wait for A-Levels June intake where you can finish by the end of next year and can make it for Uni in the first semester 2012 ^^"

QUOTE(FenomX @ Jun 5 2010, 04:37 AM) hi, i just graduate from my canadia pre-u (Ontario grade 12) and would like to get myself into NZ University, i am wonder if my pre-u is acceptable and what is the minimum requirement that i need for my pre-u in order to enter the university? Any helps is greatly appreciated. Since your a CPU graduate why not just go to the Taylor's placement center? They can surely help you all the way and answer your questions.
