I love iSquint, been using it since I got my iPod Video. Good stuff

But I'm using a Windows PC. Does anyone know a good freeware to convert video? Currently using PQ DVD trial version and it's quite good. But need to pay USD 29 to convert more than 7 minutes of video. cry.gif

So far, I have found Xilisoft IPod Video, the easiest to use 3rd party converter and it is able to convert virtually any video format. For details and to download a free trial copy click www.xilisoft.com/ipod-video-converter.

I've tried it! It's good i think! But also have to pay to convert more than 5 minutes... cry.gif

Ya i like Xilisoft as well. I'm just curios, there are so many formats out there. Are the difference between format small? (eg. file size, quality for mp4 vx Divx)

ah.. I tried using SUPER, but why damn slow ar?
converting 1 hour tv episode for 1,5 hours now... and counting...
(convert to 640*352 though... and installing iTunes as well... maybe processor not strong enough... tongue.gif )
later trying the 320*240....

edit: converted 6 avi movies(1 hr each) in 8 hours..
is it always that slow??
*
Normally i convert to 480 * 720, it takes around slightly more than 1 hour for a cinema kind of movie.
