It's RM2 per ticket, so you'll have to wait until the Jackpot grows to about RM134 Million to be worthwhile. Also, logistically not practical to buy up all combinations. And the risk of you having to share the jackpot with another lucky bastard is very real.
For me, I play now and then the Eurojackpot once it reaches >EUR40 million since I still have an online account with them. Odds are 95 million to 1. Even worse than Malaysia's games, but at least the money goes to social projects rather than to a private company like in Malaysia.
Another game I'm playing now is Logeo, which is based on your geographical region. It's a gimmick, but the odds to win is based on the number of people playing. The game is still new, so the odds to get 1st prize is quite good. Currently less than 20000 people playing, EUR5 per ticket and 1st prize EUR100k, with other consolation prizes as well. So, it's actually a positive play (negative for the lottery operator) as long as less than 20000 tickets are sold.
