Hi all. Pretty much my first time posting in lowyat. It has served me so well for over 20 years (and still does) as an amazing source of honest information.

And thanks to this thread, I've decided to get a 2nd hand maxus, the base 'chinese' 2017 model. Referencing the term used here, no bells n whistles, which I like..less fancitronics, less likelihood of issues is my thoughts. Took it for a test drive, no issues whatsoever, just some cosmetic defects.

Took me few days to read through this thread a few times, and my only question is, for the model I'm getting, it's currently a 2-3-2-3 seat arrangement, does anyone know if it's possible to change to a 2-2-2-3 arrangement? Meaning, I would like to know if it's possible to change the 2nd bench row seat type to a 2 seat configuration.
I only found that info on removing 4th row for SE model(unfortunately, mine is the base 2.0 model. This model from Paul tans review
