Firstly android wear and gear s3 os very different. That being said s3 is optimised for use on samsung devices.

I used Sony swr3 before switching to s3. One major difference is the gestures which s3 does not have at all .
Battery life wise I charge every nite out of habit. But can typically last 1 half days. ( am using always on display)

Yeah, Agree.... It is Pretty much dead anyway, I'm selling my s3 soon after brought the 2nd time....this time i really going to stick with real sport watch like garmin or suunto which battery last me half of the month... Part of my time with watch is just glance notification. One thing i don like is talking or making call could activate your screen in your pocket without knowing it.... It happen to me quiet frequent.

This I disagree. Now my watch tells me the weather, any face watch, control Spotify, show notification calls, sms, email and even answer my calls through my phone so it's pretty much awesome compare to an ordinary watch.

All I need to do to charge it every 2 days.
