I connect my S8+ with my led monito through a usb type-c to HDMI converter which I got it online.

The converter was previously been used to connect my Alienware 17 to the monitor.

A converter could tranfrom your s8/s8+ into a dex.

But....u need to purchase the bluetooth keyboard and mouse (not wireless but bluetooth)

Yes, it transforms into "dex" mode when you connect the handset to monitor using the HDMI <-> usb type-c converter.

I get it from a computer store. I think S8 could transform into Dex Mode with any type of HDMI <-> usb type-c converter regardless of the brand of the converter (not verified).

By the way, I do not think that Dex mode is useful

No offence and jst my two cents.

One can get the cheapest S8 Plus at around 2800++ which is 900 cheaper than the pre-order set.

Meanwhile, he able to get another 400 raya voucher with a total of 1300 rebate on the top of retail recommended price.

3699 - 900 = 2800

2800 - 400 = 2400

In my personal point of view,

1300 cash/voucher rebate is much better than screencare+ powerbank+wireless charger+ sp+clear case.

Preoreder customer suppose to get some privilege or discount but the truth is the other way round.

screencare (not a must to me)
+ powerbank (not useful as I have a few powerbank alr)
+ wireless charger ( i seldom use the wireless charger, still prefer to charge the phone with wired, use less than 5 times)
+ sp +clear case (not a must to me as I bought the case from other company)

In fact, the SSRRXXXXX code (Lazada 200) and XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX code (11streets 200) have been abused the most. Many of the forumers claim more than 1 time.

They are very limited number of forumers who claimed both campaign 400 + (200+ 200) vouchers because the loop bugs had been fixed right after samsung announced the 400 lazada campaign.

It would be make more sense for the following composition,

2 k vouchers go to SSOFFXXXX code (Lazada 400) = 0.8 million
4 k vouchers go to SSRRXXXXX code (Lazada 200) = 0.8 million
4 k vouchers go to XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX code (11streets 200) = 0.8 million

I apologize and admit that I claimed

2 x 200 lazada + (using the reset mysamsung account method)
2 x 200 11streets + (using the reset mysamsung account method)
1 x 400 lazada (call the samsung customer service and said I fail to redeem the voucher, samsung issues a new code for me)

using the same handset.

The reason I insisted not to reveal the method to re-claim the 1 x 400 lazada to those who claimed (200 + 200 vouchers) is to prevent the abuses again.

Anyway, the responsibility should be bear by Samsung. A few million is jst sap sap sui for a SUPER BIG company like samsung la.

I think snatch the vouchers as a rebate to cover the loses and compensate unfair treatment to the pre-order customers using @Maiden22's method is acceptable. I dint say it is right but...acceptable.

Samsung as one of the biggest companies in the world should bear full responsible for their mistakes over the bug loop vouchers claiming.

I gave them time pressure and requested them to do it within 3 hours.

(I dun want to give them enough time and space for investigation over my case)

It was the very first day Samsung issued the 400 vouchers which is tied to the imei.

I bet all parties (the system technician / voucher operators / customer service) are not ready and are not well communicated during that time and I keep claiming that the 400 voucher was not shown in my mysamsung app.

I gave them my imei number and ask them to settle it within 3 hours.

After 1 hour, I found a voucher was pushed into mysamung app.

By the way, I dont think this tactic works anymore as the system technician / voucher operators / customer service aware of this scam.
