I am also giving heads up rm290 for a screen protector is very expensive.  Just get original Samsung so and insurance also not that expensive.

I don't really feel the grainy maybe your phone have tinted issue? Did you check yours?

Tempered glass: does not mean u suddenly have a magic protection of your phone screen cracking/shattering.
as such, be it a normal TG or some top of the line made from mineral glass from the dark side of the moon, there is no guarantee it will ensure 100% your screen won't crack. ( maybe reduces the likelihood , but still not 100%).

Samsung Protection Plus, based on their FAQ coverage:
does not cover:
Damage or defects due to fire, intentional damage, fractures;
Scratches, gradually developing defects, cosmetic damage to outer surface/ finishing and external parts of the Device, including without limitation dents or scratches on the exterior casing, screen, camera lens, buttons and other attachments, including where caused by friction or rubbing with additional equipment or accessories;
Deterioration of the Device due to normal wear and tear, including without limitation rust or stains;
Reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct associated with handling and use of the Device;

read it carefully - it implies that if you dropped your phone, and it cracked, they may also refuse a replacement based on intentional damage or reckless usage ( not sure if any one encountered this before?) or is it guaranteed screen crack =100% replacement no questions asked.

end of the day, both have pro and cons. some ppl feel 'safer' with a TG and will invest in it. Some ppl feel it's excessive, and screen protection is sufficient.
To each their own la. no need to berate each other to it. Let's agree to disagree and move on .

installed clear coat at pavilion yesterday..and today my screen have a long scratch mark on the screen. First time using clear coat product. Not sure what is the hype about this protection. Rubberry feeling & easily scratched when i put in my pocket. I think tempered glass is the best. But not sure it have end to end screen protection coverage.

Is the battery really drain fast? I am heavy users on email checking and most of the time on 4g/3g if not connected to wifi. How long the battery can last after full charge?

I'm using the 2nd gen X-One... though I won't recommend that... worms/wrinkles, heck even bubbles appears after months of using it... too expensive for a suck film... go for something else
