also.. my sony could not support android wear 2 so a lot of the later features was missing.

In terms of s voice vs google, i would say its on par. both are ok but don't rely on it.

purely based on s3 frontier vs swr3.

the battery life on s3 is amazing even with always on display.

the one app i guess i miss was the ability to have google maps navigate from the watch .

So far ok for me. In fact even previous note 5 I only started feeling Microstutter after about a year of use.

Tbh sometimes it's the different launcher and themes that are not designed well that causes it. Same case for s3 watchfaces

oh . if u mean function wise, yealah. i use to overcome this on my note 1 by flashing different region roms

however things like bixby.. hmm.. no way to overcome it i guess.

i just use the free provided samsung sp and am happy as can be screen is clear. no lifting issues. end of day, ppl will spend what they feel is the best.

Tempered glass: does not mean u suddenly have a magic protection of your phone screen cracking/shattering.
as such, be it a normal TG or some top of the line made from mineral glass from the dark side of the moon, there is no guarantee it will ensure 100% your screen won't crack. ( maybe reduces the likelihood , but still not 100%).

Samsung Protection Plus, based on their FAQ coverage:
does not cover:
Damage or defects due to fire, intentional damage, fractures;
Scratches, gradually developing defects, cosmetic damage to outer surface/ finishing and external parts of the Device, including without limitation dents or scratches on the exterior casing, screen, camera lens, buttons and other attachments, including where caused by friction or rubbing with additional equipment or accessories;
Deterioration of the Device due to normal wear and tear, including without limitation rust or stains;
Reckless, abusive, willful or intentional conduct associated with handling and use of the Device;

read it carefully - it implies that if you dropped your phone, and it cracked, they may also refuse a replacement based on intentional damage or reckless usage ( not sure if any one encountered this before?) or is it guaranteed screen crack =100% replacement no questions asked.

end of the day, both have pro and cons. some ppl feel 'safer' with a TG and will invest in it. Some ppl feel it's excessive, and screen protection is sufficient.
To each their own la. no need to berate each other to it. Let's agree to disagree and move on .

( by the judging standards i would be considered the black sheep - no TG and no samsung protection GASP!! )

oh dear. can rub off? else i think u can go for 1 to 1 replacement? their product suppose to be quite durable leh.

weekend got charge weekday is free.

my colleague using it happily on his s7e. no complaints from him so far.
i think done 1 replacement only cos dust got on the side. he has had it for almost a year now.

well, for comparison, i used note 5 prior to this ( charge every 8 hours or so). based on gsmarena battery endurance , 1+3T was listed as 83h and note 5 as 85h, so i think it's pretty close for a comparison.

on s8, i average 32 hours before i need to charge. that's about 1 1/2 day. aod off, 4g on , wifi on, location on batt saving mode and power saving mode (mid) is on.

SOT is typically 3 hours ( i don't on my screen often as i use a smartwatch).

of course, different ppl will have different usage patterns, so our conditions may vary. but i do believe you will feel a difference with the battery life.

s8 coral blue

i went to see all colors. The black from the back look like easy to spot fingerprints. Gold i skipped cos my note5 was gold. Grey bought for wife (cos she liked the purpley color) so only logical option was blue
