QUOTE(zorbyss. @ Jul 28 2017, 09:20 AM) I used my Nexus 5, 1+1, Nexus 6P and Galaxy Tab S2, all naked. I still get scratches on the screen. Didn't bother me much though. Perhaps I didn't babysit my phones enough (I broke 2/3 phones after a year). Until I got the S8 and I know I need protection, it's just give me worries. Hate having SP on my screen, really ruin the overall experience sometimes. Matte cause blurs, TG with broken edges. Go naked, worry less. Gotta agree with you on protecting the fingerprint sensor and camera lens. It's a bit too far. Flip cases are best protection but than some users simply hate it. It is just impossible for display be scratched with it covered . And phone always in left pocket of pants always alone without any other stuffs.

Clearing cache does help to improve smoothness in the phone. I did mine yesterday and was my first time since early May I got the phone. No data is lost clearing it. Press vol up n bixby button first follow by power button simultaneously. Release power button once you see bootup. Release both bixby and volup buttons once you see android mascot. You might sees command error. Just press volup to access the recovery menu. Select wipe cache and press power button to select.

QUOTE(David83 @ Jul 30 2017, 09:29 AM) Different from Device Maintenance? This only clear cache. Device maintenance does more I think. Anyway is a way for those who just need to clear cache. I use another app sd maid pro for cleansing too - corpse files removal, system and app leftover junks This post has been edited by benny888: Jul 30 2017, 09:59 AM

QUOTE(ChaosSixth @ Jul 31 2017, 06:17 PM) It seems i read some reviews claiming that "choose the right USB type C" or not u might fried your phone.. I just entered to type C zone... care to enlighten me about this? what they trying to say? I thought all type C cable are compatible to all type C supported devices? It won't fried your phone but your charger only This is just an old issue that cropped out during first USBC phones such as Nexus6p. I don't think modern cables these days had such problem anymore

QUOTE(latte36 @ Aug 7 2017, 04:02 PM) This is the problem with clear coat... lifetime warranty... Makes u go back and change even for the slightest thing Been there done that. 1 month change like 10 times Must be poor quality product /or poor install that needed replacement so many time? Yet several had highly recommended it This post has been edited by benny888: Aug 7 2017, 04:43 PM
