Got a question on this what about warranty from Dell, those who used to deal with warranty registration do assist in giving opinion please, thank you.
Just bought a new Dell S2415H from Sri Computer just before the last hari raya. Received the item, everything was ok. As what the salesman asked before, I need to register the warranty by myself which is not a problem with that.
The problem is that now, the service tag no sticked at the rear cannot be registered. Upon checking it was registered under U2717D and the warranty already expired.
Have few discussions with Dell CS, they promised to look into the matter and the problem will be escalate to the internal team as they have no idea why the same service tag no to serve 2 different model as it should a special to be served to each differently. Things should resolved between 24 to 48 hrs during workdays but now almost 2 weeks already without any news from them. I already attached the image of service tag, express service code, serial no as well the receipt from Sri Computer.
However still a good news, they assured me that the receipt will be honor to serve a warranty in case anything happen and the warranty is 3 years from the date of purchased. But I just don't feel a good thing, they unable to trace their product despite some infos given.
