No point going for 21:9 with CS and Overwatch. Both doesn't support Ultrawide.
Saying it is unfair but gaming mouse with high DPI is okay. Haha |

Definitely 16:9.
Most games are optimized at 16:9. 21:9 is mainly for movies. For games, it's severely stretched at the sides (if you worry about perfect geometry). With TN panels, you'll notice color shift. Depends on how picky you are, these might drive you crazy. |

I felt like I'm one of the few that actually went back to 16:9. A lot of games does not support.. videos & TV series always will have black bars at the side.
Movies are amazing but I watch a lot more 16:9 content compare to watching movies. |

For native supported game in 21:9, can it call cheating?
Example for FPS games, you got 30% more viewing area then 16:9 user, they can see you on the side while other cannot. Just asking |

QUOTE(ngks @ Aug 3 2017, 06:58 PM) For native supported game in 21:9, can it call cheating? Depends by what you mean by cheating. If it means gaining advantage then yes, 21:9 and 100hz+ monitors will give you an advantage. If it means will it get you banned, no unless it is not officially supported and you hacked it to get it to work.Example for FPS games, you got 30% more viewing area then 16:9 user, they can see you on the side while other cannot. Just asking |
