Hi mummy, im staying in kajang. I plan to stay in the confinement center in Sg long. This is the center facebook and details
https://www.facebook.com/cultureromance/I visit the center i felt very comfortable and the price also reasonable. The facebook seems lots of babies stay there before.
I wonder if there is any mummy here have any experience in this center? please share with me.
As i get to know they are not nurse or doctor to take care your baby. just normal confinement center. of cause when we compare the price we see much more different.
i expecting a pair of twins. Normally the price will be RM12000 - RM28000 for 28days. Sound very ridiculous. This center cost me less then Rm7k.
When i discuss this issue with my family and friends. actually some points is useful. when old time we find confinement lady staying our house she is not a nurse or doctor too. So no need to go for so "VIP only for this 28 days."
As we are not from rich family too.
* I find another center in Bukit Jalil price also reasonable. but i think will be the same as the this 1. if there is any mummy have experience in that center please share with me as well.

Although the price is cheaper than average market rate, but you get lesser than expected service.
Food does not meet requirements, and it does not tantalize your taste buds as what is being described and portrayed in his Facebook page..
I reported to the owner that there was plastic in the soup, and also hair was found in one of my dish, however he did not respond at all.
During my stay, the centre had stuffed in too many mothers and babies.
When I checked in I wasn't given the room I signed up for. No notification was given earlier even though I had already informed the owner more than one month earlier regarding my EDD.
Many other mothers have been treated the same way too (you don't get what you paid for)
Due to the exceeding intake, there was issue of understaff and there were many problems that arised. 11 babies + 11mothers : 3 maids.
So many days & nights we have to go downstairs to check on our babies because we are worried. Sometimes we took over the job of taking care of our own babies because of the shortage of manpower.
The newly brought in maids very much later were incapable and it made us even more worried to place our babies under their care.
Halfway through my confinement I have to go through the hassle of moving to his new centre due to his over-intake of customers.
New centre was not equipped and
we were transferred in in a hurry.
During the transition it was a really bad one. What he promised us earlier to assist us with our baggage and ferrying us over wasn't even done.
Our family members have to take the trouble to assist instead.
He also forced us to move over after sunset.
So, mothers in confinement supposed to be exposed to the chilly night air??
How about chills, headaches or bodily aches? You are on your own.
Lost your shoes during your stay here? - you are on your own too.. (lesson learnt - keep your outdoor shoes with you) who would ever thought that you need to be safekeeping your own outdoor shoes when you commit to stay indoors for 28days in a home?
His package :
1. Baby herbal bath-
He promised to provide herbal bath for babies, but the herbal packets were just for display. He will ask you to buy a type of spinach (Chan Choy) so the maids will boil the vege and bathe your baby. So, it's at your own cost, not provided as stated.
2. Breastfeeding encouragement -
Although stated encourage breast milk and there is a special compartment for keeping your milk, there is no special freezer as stated. Just a small fridge. You are required to get your family member to bring your milk home because he has NO SPACE to accommodate all mummies's milk all at once.
To add on, the maids has no proper knowledge on how to handle breast milk. Overheating breast milk and then cooling it back down again to feed your babies.
3. Five meals a day -
Mind you, if you take the sharing room or the single package, for the remaining few nights, you only have 4 meals. Your supper is cut short of and you have to bear with hunger for the remaining nights.
4. Monitoring mummies' blood pressure -
I have NEVER SEEN that device before.
Free up-scaling of blood pressure due to stress, maybe.
POST CONFINEMENT CONCLUSION -
Overall I do not enjoy the food or the stay here. It stressed most of the mummies of my batch.
Food isn't nutritious and not up to Chinese confinement standard.
Signing up for something cheaper at this centre isn't something worth it. Given a choice again, I rather spend a little bit more elsewhere that's more professional, ethical and reliable..
Whatever misfortune that happens during your stay, no one is liable.
