i would sell my ass and buy a ps3 to play this Class A game. but i think its about time they finihs the METAL GEAR SOLID saga. its getting draggy already. i hope they implement the 3rd person cam for mgs4. i mean splinter cell proved that u can play a stealth genre game cam be played in 3rd person. so hopefully kojima san will grant my wish.

i think bug boss will come back.lets think about it for a moment. since mg1 they never show his body. we just know he died in an inferno back in Zanzibar. the game always talk about the human genore project. so maybe in mgs4 we can finally see the best THE BOSS clone ever facing off Solid Snake in the ultimate "who's the best clone ever" showdown.

my theory is he manage to kill every single The Boss clone and since he is the only survivor now decide to kill himself

hehhee. theatre uh? the game was designed and prog to utilise multicore cell processor.since the 360 does not have as many core the port the porting of MGS4 to the 360 wont be easy.the same wont be the same for 36o to ps3.thats why games looks the same on multiplatform games. imo lah

good i say since i'm still pissed that the twin snakes wasnt ported to the ps2 some years ago!!

interesting idea but wont the brain be degraded by now. mgs4 could be set at least 20 years after the zanzibar incident. i am more into snake being a bad ass and turning into the new big boss.ending his reign as a hero and becoming a "terrorist". in mgs2 he is already a member of the philanthropist who are againts the usage of MG in the world. maybe he would take over zanzibar,raise a private army and start killing everybody.maybe rayden would take over the reign and tries to kill snake in MGR1

kojima was supposed to end this game on 3 but then back out of his words.now we have the 4th iteration of the game. i honestly think the end of the saga is here. snake is getting angrier and tired of war. his only ipurpose in life is to be a super soldier. i wont be suprised if he starts a war to end all war.so that he can finally live in peace.

i have a theory on the young snake from the trailer. it could be snake's own clone. lets face it. he kicks the big boss's butt. kick solidus butt.. and defeat the legendary ocelot. so he is better than them. the US gov could have cloned him during mgs1. howzat?

Gaming blog Kotaku recently caught up with Hideo Kojima, the brains behind the influential Metal Gear series, shortly after his keynote address at last week's GO3 expo in Perth, Australia. Although both Kojima's speech and the subsequent interview run across the whole gamut of Kojima's development experience, Kotaku asked the question that has been plaguing the minds of PS3 and Xbox 360 fanboys alike:

Will Metal Gear Solid 4 remain PS3 exclusive?

To answer this question, Kojima, perhaps appropriately, equated the three next gen systems to a moviegoing experience.

"The PS3 is like the theatre, it's a little bit high-priced but it has to be high quality as well," he explained. "The 360 is a DVD, it still needs to be high quality but you need more variations, while the Wii is almost like a TV channel, because every game you have it with your family".

So how does this relate to PS3 exclusivity, you may ask? When the subject changed to Devil May Cry 4 going multiplatform, Kojima knew exactly where the conversation was going.

"[L]ike I said, MGS4 is aimed for the movie theatre, it's aimed for the PS3, so the game's scenario and graphics need this theatre-type hardware," Kojima responded. "It's when a producer has a game that can work on the 'DVD level' that a game will go multiplatform."

Kojima also stated his belief that any decision made regarding a particular game's multiplatform status is mostly the decision of the game's producer.

The interview also touched on several other hot topics, including motion sensing versus rumble. Kojima stated that he would prefer to include force feedback, and because of the recent settlement between Sony and Immersion, that may be possible. However, he calls the possible implementation of rumble a "race against time", depending on how soon Sony brings forth a controller that once again includes rumble technology.

But Kojima fans also wanted to know if MGS 4 would truly be his last Metal Gear game. In response, Kojima stated:

"If users want more Metal Gear, then I will probably step up as producer, like the James Bond series does. That way I can have new, upcoming directors making MGS while I oversee the project, and then perhaps I can move onto something new."
