Kojima Podcast: Team Starts Work On MGS4 Demo
 According to the latest Kojima Report Podcast (#59), the team talks about several new MGS4 developments, and even incorporated the Dual Shock 3 into the discussion. After being asked if the rumble feature in the DS3 was better than in the DS2, they said "absolutely," even though they only had a chance to add rumble into the game one week before TGS. Well, that must mean instituting the feature can't be too difficult, which makes sense. After all, even if the DS3's functionality is a bit more advanced, a zillion PS2 titles took advantage of the rumble, so why should it be any different for the PS3? But that wasn't the most important part of the podcast. When prompted to talk about the demo, they simply said- "All I can say is that as of tomorrow we're going to start working on the English demo." No MGS4 Demo Planned for PSN
 We thought we'd be getting it, but Konami now says it's a no-go. According to the latest Kojima Productions podcast, it seems that heavily anticipated playable demo for Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will not be coming to the PlayStation Store before the game's launch early next year. The podcast's host, Ryan Payton, said- "I can tell you, as of right now, we don't have any plans of uploading this demo on the PlayStation Store." So of course, any rumors going around that say we might see the MGS4 demo next week are false. This isn't good news for Metal Gear fans, but hey, this only makes the final product that much more earth-shattering. Besides, it wasn't all bad news in the podcast. Flak master Michael Shelling announced that the PSP sequel, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops+, has gone gold and will ship on November 13. For handheld owners, that's awesome, but PS3 owners looking for a sweet demo are just gonna have to wait until the real deal hits store shelves. This was stated in the KP podcast #62, that only those who are going to the E for All will have the ability to play an aspect of MGS4 prior to the actual release date next spring. This of course leaves out the VAST majority of the MGS fan base, and that would be a bit unfair not to give this opportunity to the many who can access the PSN, opposed to those who can attend to E for All convention. There are more important things in life than the Xbox 360 or the PS3 getting exclusive titles from one another. Life goes on.
