Me too, no funds to join QUOTE(kievlueen @ Jul 7 2017, 04:13 PM) Just called bank , CS claim is the CIMB border fees related with the merchant . 😧😧 Wahh border fee is so high? Wonder if foreign bank has lower border fees like Citi, HSBC, OCBC etc.

QUOTE(kievlueen @ Jul 7 2017, 04:28 PM) As your usage Citibank no charge you any border fees right ? Guess foreign bank don't have cross border fees. That's what I am thinking. Will wait a few days to see if there is any major adjustment to the amount which shouldn't be.

QUOTE(tcw90 @ Jul 7 2017, 05:30 PM) Which Bank CC you use? I using Maybank Card, didn't receive any sms for the code. I am still waiting for it to show in my statement. Maybe you all should get a Citibank credit card and subscribe to online banking. I am not sure about other banks but Citibank is almost instant you can see your pending transaction in their online banking. Meaning the moment you transact with your card, be it over the web or over the counter in retail stores, you login your online banking and you see that transaction there already. Which is useful in this sense. So far, I have CIMB, MBB, RHB, none of these can do it. Not sure of other banks.

Trying to purchase in HashNest, but when I went in AntL3, it says Out of Stock? Is it really out of stock or do I have to deposit LTC first?

QUOTE(raynman @ Jul 13 2017, 05:33 PM) You have to deposit LTC first before you buy. You don't buy from the shop, but from the MARKET. Just key in the amount of hashrate you want to buy and your PIN code. OIC, thanks. Looks like HashNest site is down now. I can't login.

QUOTE(raynman @ Jul 13 2017, 06:21 PM) It is OK now. OK! Thanks for all the sharing here guys, I managed to become a Cloud Miner lol. Presently have : 1. 25MH/s DASH in GM 2. 10MH/s Scrypt in Hashflare 3. 4MH/s AntL3 in HashNest I know with my little investment here it is too spread out (a bit here, a bit there). So, wanna ask, if whenever I have fund to topup, which should be the ones I should topup and focus on? Meaning which should be the most potential that we should increase first?

Don't tell me Genesis got hacked. When I login, all pending payments and payouts are zero. Then the moment after I login, I get the "Congratulations, Your hashpower has been upgraded....." just like the message I saw when I first joined. It's like the account has been reset to factory setting Hope they can sort it out.

Got a reply from GM after sending in my Termination for Good Cause letter :
We are sorry to tell you that we do not accept refunds as stated in the clause 4 of your signed agreement. We do not issue refunds also because we have invested your payment in mining infrastructure. Investing in cloud mining is not without risk and we expect our customers to be aware of that and do their own research before purchase.
Thanks for your understanding.
Best regards, Ewan Genesis Mining Customer Service

For HashNest graph, can anyone explain what's the White Line (PPLNS/GHS) and Green Line (PPS/GHS) means? I can't understand it.

QUOTE(cofin @ Jul 28 2017, 12:40 PM) What is difference between PPS and PPLNS payment models?PPLNS is a way of determining how many cryptocoins you get for your shares completed. Pay Per Last N Shares is what PPLNS stands for. This method of calculating payouts includes a "luck" factor. Using PPLNS your payout per share will have a large range(30% more or less on your payouts), but on average, PPLNS earns more than PPS (by 5% or so) in the long run (a month or more). PPS is also known as Pay Per Share. It is a more direct method where you get a standard payout rate for each share completed. This method eliminates the "luck" in your payout, but can decrease your total income per share by around 5%.Using PPS you get a set number of cryptocoins per share of work you have solved. It has no luck involved so the payouts do not fluctuate. Which payment model should I use?PPLNS If you are looking to make money off of the cryptocoin network, you want to use PPLNS due to its higher payout.PPLNS will give you wide fluctuations in your 24 hour payout, but for hardcore miners, the law of large numbers states you will earn more this way. This is for people trying to mine as fast as possible. PPS PPS is for people who want to have statistics to base calculations off of for upsizing their mining power.PPS is not recommended for a simple mining because the payout is less in the long run. Thanks for sharing bro. Very detailed info.

QUOTE(HHCC @ Jul 31 2017, 04:37 PM) I think the worse is over and everything's back to normal well almost normal. Now would be a good time, IMO, to reflect on the amount of investment we put into crypto in general and cloud mining in particular. There's always a risk that the whole cryptoverse may explode and mining companies go belly up. So back to rule of investing what you can afford to lose. Just my thoughts. Yes and at least invest in several Cloud Mining, GM, HF, HN, etc. Don't put all the eggs in one basket. For wallets too, I use several wallets so as to spread out what I have. When one got hacked, not everything is gone.
