Only did some on and off light reading on Cloud mining these few weeks, still confuse on cloud mining contract.
Say I bought 100USD for XX amount of hashrate/s, that's one off ? monthly ? Sorry if it's explain before, but couldnt get confirmed answer from review or intro.

Depends on which Cloud mining you're invested in. On Hashnest, it is a one off payment, you own the contract permanently until you decide to resell it on their market. On other cloud mining sites like Genesis mining or Hashflare, they are based on contract term. 1-2 years or even lifetime, depending which contract you're purchasing.

Ten day ago, GigaWatt has suspended hosting of mining equipment indefinitely for those without tohens.

No tokens no hosting.

Because of this reason alone I bought extra WTT. Think about it, those who want to host at Gigawatt facility in future have no choice but to purchase the limited supply of WTT. This would push the price up. Another thing, since the WTT will only be issued in September, I felt that it was the best place to hedge the value of my coins against this current bearish market. Each WTT will definitely be priced at around $1- $1.50. So for example, if you bought the WTT using 1 BTC valued at 2500USD at that time, in September when you sell the WTT you will be receiving approximately 2500USD worth of BTCs as well, no value lost. Note that I don't trust USD-T to hedge my money there.

Bad news for me ... L3+ all sold out

Did you try emailing the sales department or support? If you bought the 880 WTT already try emailing them. Last time Raynman and I emailed them too when it was sold out on their site.

What did they say? By the way, if you don't mind paying the extra price, I know a seller. Abit pricey though, around RM 11500 per unit. But it's a ready stock. You can send it over to Gigawatt after you received it.

They say ran out of stock...ask me go to new website, register, wait for stock, order again...same process...

Thanks for the info. I may consider but won't be sending over...
*
There is a new website already. They told me last time that they are going to be changing the ordering process to a shopping cart. They might have some extra units to sell there/

Sure, PM me if you're interested.

That is because the L3 are probably discontinued by now and are superceded by the L3+.

The price/performance of the L3 and the L3+ is vastly different, hence the different costing.

Remember the hashrate of the L3+ is more than double the L3, but only priced slightly higher.
*
You mean that there is a possibility that they will release the L3+ contract plan? Would that cause the current L3 contracts price to dip?

Most likely.

The price per MH/s will eventually reach equilibrium (probably somewhere in between the cost of L3 and L3+) because the LTC mining capability is the same per MH/s.
*
Yeah, I get your point, thank you. It won't matter too much IMO, since the losses can be offset with the early mining. I just got 200m/h. Got some BTC at 8K rate on Luno yesterday. Held it for one day and converted to LTC when it dipped earlier.

Looks more like a roundabout coin converter...

Yeah, I did some research on Nicehash. Not worth it IMO. Concluded that it's more like a currency converter as well. And a bad 1 too since most of the time you don't get the value for what you're spending.

So I think they are one of the victims of the recent ETH hackings.

My best guess is that their funds were transferred out by the White Hat Group. Because as far as I know only 3 parity wallets were hacked (Swarm City being one of them) and before the hackers could clear the rest of the wallets, the White Hat Group went ahead to clear out all remaining 500+ vulnerable wallets. They are planning on returning the funds back to their owners and I think that GM could be one of them.

Haha, okok only la. I read a lot of articles when I have the time. By the way, they are still waiting for the WHG to return their money. I think once they get back their ETH they will be making payouts again.

Err actually I'm confused. Why are you guys transferring funds out from Exodus wallet? As long as you retain your private keys you'll be able to claim the BCCs right? And you have access to your private keys on Exodus.

The main reason is that we want to have immediate access to our BCC so that they can be quickly sold on supported exchanges after the fork.
We don't want to fiddle around with importing private keys to supported wallets, knowing very well Exodus does NOT support BCC.

Isee. Haha. rclxms.gif

Even more reasons for me to dive into alt coins now.
