QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 10 2017, 09:19 PM) I'll try to share some photos tomorrow. I am interested to buy this phone after did some survey. But I worry some tempered glass cannot cant fit on screen. Like you said, even it fit but the case will push the edge of tempered glass.but this case.. not compatible with some tpsp. see page1 on accessories. right now.. it's pushing up my free tempered glass. very bad.. sometimes touch not getting registered coz it's actually pushed quite high up from screen |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 11 2017, 10:03 AM) sorry, don't have a photo of the case on the phone. only got one phone with me. will need to pinjam phone later. but the two cases are next to each other on the first photo: Hi bro, thanks for your sharing. [attachmentid=9223050] close up of Ringke case: [attachmentid=9223052] clear case works well with this TPSP: [attachmentid=9223059] no extra lift caused by the case. but do remember that this SP itself does not stick 100% to the phone screen. only the sides have glue/ adhesive anyway. just that with a less fitting case like this clear one, the lift is not so obvious. what i plan to do is get a film SP. maybe x-one. then issue solved. You mean the ringke fusion case front edge will block the TG? How bout the transparent air bump case? |

QUOTE(mat79 @ Oct 21 2017, 03:23 PM) as Salimbest83 said, ois. plus the leica tuning lenses and 20mp monochrome camera vs h8pro 12mp. Oh I see. I'm struggling on H8 Pro and Mate 9 now, as Mate 9 is throwing price, very tempting. image quality,u need to google it to see the differences. Performance wise I think not much difference sinec they are sharing the same platform. |

QUOTE(mat79 @ Oct 21 2017, 06:46 PM) yup, saw some seller sell it for 2k, but official store, selling mate 9 n mate 9 pro at the same price 2499,with some goodies. Geez!! you are hantu~, but I appreciate it. huawei official store now selling p10 plus at 2399 with some goodies, which is definitely better spec than mate 9, albeit smaller screen 5.5inch vs 5.9 inch in mate 9, and battery 3750 vs 4000mah. but internal spec, p10 plus has 6gb ram n 128gb internal, plus leica summilux h f1.8 certified lenses. maybe u can add that into consideration, mate 9,mate 9 pro n p10 plus. happy shopping. ps**mate 10 is just shy away at 2699(official price). poison time :-), tomorrow is last day for goddies preorder, but better ask t&c though. I will pass from mate 10 due to budget. Hopefully will be joining you guys as one family soon. Happy weekend~ |

QUOTE(mat79 @ Oct 22 2017, 06:35 PM) ha..ha..if me buying, also headache due to price reduction :-), p10 plus is really tempting. but still happy with h8pro. Happy working day 2morro :-) and happy hunting. Do share with us which one do u bought. QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 23 2017, 10:56 AM) for these two models... ultimately... you decide based on: Thanks alot for the opinion. My final questions is H8 pro support VOLTE? sorry I have been hunting too many forum and I also get confused which one does. Hahaha so sorry guys need ypur advise again* camera... there's definitely some differences as the MP on both phones are different. * RAM -- 6GB good for future proofing. * support -- Huawei being the main brand seems to get better support. or at least that is the impression for those 3 considerations above, honor 8 Pro wins in the RAM aspect. |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 23 2017, 07:40 PM) confirmed VoLTE available on Digi. based on change log (on page 1), last update also enabled it for Yes and Webe. How bout Umobile? I saw Umobile have the Volte but dunno is same setting as H8 proVoLTE requires both telco and manufacturer to do some settings. latest update as mentioned above specifically mentioned the 3 local telco. |

Update: it seems like slightly battery drain consider this is a brand new phone. Was drop from 93%-85% in 7 hours without using it, no sim card insert, wifi on from the full charge onward.
Battery manager shown the mobile network consume the more battery, but I never insert the sim card yet. Any comment? |

QUOTE(mat79 @ Oct 26 2017, 12:54 PM) link live update, setting>more>link live Thanks a lot. Now I have switch off everything. Will see how's the battery performance now. check your wifi scanning also, make sure it be turn off setting>securityprivacy>location>tripple dot at the top. speech recognition in setting>advance>accessibility>texttospeech output>google text to speech>setting google text to speech>use wifi only off n anonymous usage data off. remember to off auto close power extensive apps in battery setting u also can opt for auto close wifi when screen off if u dont need wifi to be use during screen off. Usually how long is your battery can last? QUOTE(salimbest83 @ Oct 26 2017, 08:14 PM) just go back to service centre yesterday.. I think you can send an email to their local support and threaten that you are going to complain to MCMC or KDN or whoever the authorities and see what is their response.waiting from 1.30 - 4.00 pm. still not fixed. told me to left the phone there.. which i rejected. they need to change the back cover with fingerprint.. |

QUOTE(mydragoon @ Oct 27 2017, 11:49 AM) remax... so diff to tell if ori or not. bought 1-2 before from shop that says its ori. but charging was bad... back then was the microUSB and my note had the apps to measure charge... i was getting below 1A when using Remax. after that, blacklisted it. My wife bought a remax type C cable, 1.5m from gadget shop. So far the charging rate is fast after 6 months usage. I tested ystday on our h8 pro charger, constantly get 2200mah. I quite suprise. |
