Actually under the new Strata Act, if I am not mistaken, pets are now allowed but subjected to Management Office's discretion especially if got many people complain.

But causing nuisance or not is so subjective. Some will say no, some will say yes. Would have been better if Mgmt Office just say NO. Want to keep pets, go buy landed home

Landed property is where pets like dogs have space to move. In my old apartment, I had a neighbour abt 4 floors down from my unit. They kept a dog at the yard area, always barking loudly and from the sound I can tell is not those small dog, it's quite a big dog. Why want to keep a dog in a small yard area?? The overall apt is only 800 sft, the yard also damn small. Even when the resident is at home, the dog is left at the yard howling and barking. Occassionally I would hear other neighbours screaming Shut Up
