first - 5 points
second - 3 points
third - 1 points

u can each nominate 3 drama that u tink is the best according to the point system above.

then we see which drama get the highest point

Caught carried away by the good news

3 choices is still a hard pick but here it goes

1.karei naru ichizoku

fairly easy choice for me,brilliant story, superb acting by kimura and the supporting cast and a stunning set(ignoring the fish and supposedly non existent pc)there was drama, there was love, there was betrayal and not forgetting an unexpected ending

2.proposal daisakusen

pretty tough choice considering there are other dramas around but i found it heart warming yet highly pissing me off(due to coincidences and why cant just they get together!)masami-chan was cute and lovely while yamapi is well yamapi...supporting cast was decent,especially the annoying short guy.

3.iryu 2

this is even a harder choice because i'm comparing it to the 1st iryu and it's ok but doesnt do a better job of it. however, the opening 2 hours was just amazing, cast is good,esp the hot chick and arase. noguchi must get special honours for villian of the year as well.

special mention:HYD2,considering i didn't watch the 1st and still liked it means how decent it is. inoue mao is a charm and one of the better actresses and not just looks.

other dramas worth watching:

first kiss
hotaru no hikari

well we are talking about all the dramas for the whole year
sure it would be tough but the selected few will surely be the best of the best.

karei was ok for me, the set was indeed stunning but the plot kinda bland to me and although kimura acting deserve some credits to bring up the drama but he rarely shows those "x" factors that he suppose to carry.

but I think it is better that every people can have multiply dorama for a point they give...
like, I give Proposal Daisakusen, Karei-naru Ichizoku and Himitsu no Hanazono 5 points; then give Enka no Joou 3 points; Iryu 2 and Galileo 1 points (just an example, it is not my vote)
other that I think not very good, or I didn't watch... no points

so, my result is: (remember, this is just an example)

3 points - Enka no Joou
1 point - Iryu 2, Galileo

i tink it will be better if each person can only nominate 1 drama for each points category if not it will become quite messy.

if everyone also put their fav drama all in 5 points one then it will defeat the purpose of voting for the best drama of the year right?

because if just find the best 3 and vote... very hard since that this year have many good dorama!!!

too few to choose from and jan/feb prob not 2007 dramas. some seasons have better dramas than the others but fail to get mentions as there\s only so few months. vote for any jdrama on 2007 and just accumulate the points

why not shortlisted jdrama of the month and all of us give rating from 1-10..then accumulate all the rating from votes and see which one get highest

or put drama in its own category/genre?
like human drama,romance,action,comedy and so on..then there is the best of the best among these genres

we will not use the previous Jdorama of the Month is because there is no dorama from this season become Jdorama of the Month before......

btw, quite agree with clemong_888
if give top 3 only, then only we will choose wisely... the "candidate" can be any dorama from this year

actually, this is the first year we play something like this...
so, not much experience... if put too many category/genre... maybe will confuse us...
and some dorama, like Karei-naru Ichizoku cover many "genre"... too hard to decide which genre it is...
