Thats right. I can understand from that much. But plainly provide some "text dialogues" from "somewhere", it kinda difficult to pinpoint the copyright infringement ? We are just talking about subs, not the RAWs.

Unless this dude had provided his mailing address or his personal information on the website and making money from providing these subs, i don't see how one may get caught or get involved as serious as he had said.

some subteam subbed those RAW
and will even make ads on the video... doh.gif
but i juz saw this on the *ahem hk dvd (that 10-15 ep in a dvd)

what we watch is a subbed video which they didnt use them to earn money...

and as you said, i think they didnt been caught becoz those people who subbed the video are not live in Japan

how will be our Malaysian Original??

Those subteam doesn't sub for profit, I don't think it's illegal or at least it's not as bad as RAW distributor. I don't want all subteam get sue, it's hell without JDoramas. For the Malaysia Original, the company pay the copyright fee so it's officially legal unless you mean those su*kass TV-RIP with subteam subtitles.

some will have subteam name inside
and even have something like "Please delete it within 24 hours"
it can be easily found in anime VCD

thats why we seldom support Malaysian Original

I think what you said here is correct. Siantut setup his own website which is easier to get notice or worse get caught.
I think those subbers who place their sub in D-addicts are still safe. Somemore they usually use their nicknames or alias in the credits.
We maybe could see an end of English subs if only the closure of D-addicts happens. Therefore I hope someone else could pick up these 2 dramas and sub them.

As far as i know, Love Song, Kioku-Fansubs, Nya-Fansubs and SARS's hardsubbed projects do not have any ads on them. I am not sure about Chinese Hardsubs though.

that is plain bullshit, its just translating dialogs in a drama, i dun see why is tat consider as infringement of copyright.

the future aint tat bright for us at the moment
as if not enough wif problem wif streamyx throttling the line now this?

anyway i think those ppl will think of some ways. in the mean time we can only be grateful on what we got.

it actually is an infringement. say the new harry porter books come out and someone translates the whole thing to chinese and even though distributes it for free, u think j.k rowling is going to be happy?

i think the guy lives in japan, so he's scared of getting caught one day. it might not be soon but it definitely will happen.

u cant compare a book with a tv series

besides they are just making soft subs which is the direct translation of the words they used in the drama, they are not remaking the whole drama in foreign language.

in short it doesnt hold a big threat to the company compare to translating a book because a book rely on words for sale compare with soft sub who wont affect anything at all, since fuji tv only operates in japan, for wat the care of wat happen outside of japan, if they wan a piece of this vast international market they could have always produce drama with international subs which will surely bring down all fan subs.

if they only bother about the jap market, why should they be stopping ppl from making soft sub for international fans.

if they would have produce drama with high quality english subs i would have gladly buy the ori, rather than waiting for it on the net.

i tink this kinda copyright law is gettting more and more screw up.

I think raw is not stopped de ~
As long as jp show then will get the RAW
For english sub i duno the information if for chinese sub then will not be any problem ~

As long as jp show then they will do the sub ~
Or else they record form Taiwan "Wei Lai Ri Ben Tai" and share to us ~

Because China law is less to check about the copyright problem ~
As long as not the topic related about politik and sex then will be ok ~

As i know u can buy the "Ahem" CD or DVD in the china internet webside with
RM 4 or Rm 5 only ~

Do the softsub or hardsub is not wrong because they can improve the japanese or chinese language and other skill ~

So normally u can see the a banner for a subteam say the copyright problem ~

That girl from Tada Kimi wo Aishiteru, Miyuki (Meisa Kuroki), kirei~naa. wub.gif
Shizuru outshined her in TKwA and i didn't notice much of her.

But in HC, my jawdropped and eyes widen for one whole night. tongue.gif rclxm9.gif

*starts to hit dramawiki for more stuff by Meisa Kuroki, and what a good time for that site to be down* doh.gif

I went ahead and previewed the Romeo and Juliet SP without subs. Masami-chan is more plump now. shocking.gif
Looks a bit boring but maybe because after my one-nighter session watching HC. yawn.gif

Time to sleep. ohmy.gif

I buy all the Japanese shows I have watched (or on my shelf). Think for RM 45 - 50 it's quite worth it - though sometimes the English subs are bad. Still watchable/understandable. I think they take them off the 'net though .. so maybe paying RM 50 for it is stupid.
