how come still can lag? i think my resolution put 1064x768...don't have exact detail...but should be this resolution based on what i can remember

or what driver? try using different driver. then if have dedicated sound card will improve performance too. what else? lets see.. tone down on the body decal limit and smoke. that should improve it abit. i played that game on my old 9600XT. no prob...

Yea, what processor are u on?..

And most importantly didcha disable "soft-shadows"?.. coz that really eats performance... and try lower down yer Anti-Aliasing and Anistropic-Filtering settings.

And yeah, make sure get the latest patch for it, theres some performance increased.

If u want, try set it to DX8 mode instead of DX9 mode, definately increased yer fps smile.gif, but juz not as "eye-candy" as in DX9.

Of course smooth loh... both of u on dx8 mode not dx9 mode rolleyes.gif, esp. if not mistaken both of yer 3dcard cant do dx9 gfx.. sweat.gif

(FYI : low requirements for DX8 mode in the settings, and basically double yer fps using it..lol, but as usual, doesnt look as detailed/good in DX9 mode).

what programme you run on background? i've been playing this "old" game with max settings on 1680x1050 with BT running in background. no lag. the only stutter i encountered was a scene with lots of soldiers/moving objects and smokes. that's the only scene. I quit my BT and everything went smooth again. laugh.gif

try update your driver and your game.

can lah. 9600XT support dx9c... it also support SM1. the only problem with my xt was some stages i can play it on dx9 while other just freeze. its a programming problem last time i checked. the game looked gorgeous in dx9 mode. with bump mapping and stuff. playing it on dx 7 modejust sucks!

*i believe it was dx7 not 9.. i still av the game installed and yeah.. it is 7
