Same la. Imo solar cell is redundant, cause I have several casio scientific calculators without solar cell, use since 2010 until now still can use. I use it quite regularly (PMR/SPM/pre-u/doing math in uni).

If now battery run out also I think I will just change the calculator haha

For a levels, I think the spm fx-570ms should suffice... No need waste money buy the others. Even for uni also I am just using it

God damn it. kongming you study A-Levels for how long liao?
In regards to Calculator, Casio 570ES will do the job.
And it runs on AAA battery for 8 years shelf life.

(Passed down for so long still haven't died.)

I would say solar, I had the unfortunate calculator run out of battery event on my PMR back then. Since then I had been using fx-991ES.

Works great even until I finish masters recently which means it lasted about...almost 10 years now. I'm 26 this year and I bought it when I was 16. Hahaha.

I wonder how long the calculator has been using...... Mine AAA battery has lasted for about 10 years..... no sign of low battery.
