Bought a set of 215/45x17 for my Honda. Only one week old. This is the first time I am using this brand.

Any other users here? What is your feedback?

I've yet to drive the car in heavy rain but so far the performance in the dry is pretty impressive. Maybe even slightly better than the Goodyear F1 Directional it replaces. The quietness is probably due to the tyres being new.

On looks, this tyres is less sporty than the Goodyear.

How much did you pay for it?

RM 418 + 10 for the steel valve each wheel.

Expensive, might as well buy Michelin PS4, surely better tire.

Use Michelin before, though not this new PS4.

Ya but for that price not really worth it I think coz PS4 surely will be better as it's one of the best if not the best high performance tire in the market today. PS4 competes directly with Pirelli P Zero which is higher class than this Dragon Sport.

I wanted to buy P Zero actually but don't have my size.

Yeah the latest P Zero is also a very good performance tire, very close match with PS4. Other better choice is Continental CSC5. That one is still equal with PS4 but also rather expensive coz still made in Europe. I am using that tire now, and so far the best tire I've ever used, truly excellent tire for both dry & wet, the downside are it wears out quite fast also and a bit noisy.

How was the experience so far after few months? Smooth ride? Mileage OK?

I like them. Pretty sticky in the dry.

I always change brand or model at every tyre replacement. This tyre is the best performing so far. I was using Goodyear F1 Directional before this Pirelli. Less noisy too.

Mileage is not a priority for me as the tyres are on a car I don't use frequently.

Sweet! I want to change to this tyre too after getting to know there is a new Pirelli Performance centre opening near kelana jaya beside Paradigm Mall.

Got quoted rm380 excl GST for promotional price (215/45R17).

That's a good price.

If I remember correctly, the Malaysia Distributor for Pirelli also distributes Michelin.

Got an even better deal @ RM350 incl GST

I din know about the distributor products, but it feels great on the road!

just change my tyres to Dragon Sport last weekend
It is quiet to me, on PLUS highway (maybe still new)

Changed from Conti MC5, earlier PS3.

Please update us after a few hundred km of usage. Let us know how it compares with the other tyres you have used before.

Changed all 4 to this at Quick Save early last year if I'm not mistaken. Was using Asymmetric 2, and before that was using PS3. Wanted to try Advan Fleva at that time but they ran out of stock, and since this was on promo, I gave it a try.

Gotta admit that in the first 6 months I hated the grip on corners even in dry. But somehow the grip's much better now after around a year. The tires are quiet indeed. Paid around 1k if I'm not mistaken for all 4 in 225/45/17. But I'd definitely go for PS4 for the next change. Somehow I feel more confident driving fast in wet on PS based on my PS3 experience. Just my own personal preference 😊

Found out this Pirelli Performance centre near kelana jaya and called to enquire the price, surprising the price quite close to Klang price quoted me Scorpion Verde Run Flat 255/45/20 for RM 1,480 per donut whereas Klang is RM 1,450 (if changed 4 donuts). I also surveyed in Puchong it is RM 1,530, so a good deal indeed. Will see this weekend as make appointment to change

klang is not very cheap nowadays.u can refer to shah alam,saw your size rm 1380 for pirelli but not sure is pzero or scorpion verde.u can check with him if u want the contact,i can share to u.

Ya, klang used to have price advantage and don't seems so these days, perhaps more and more this part the shops offering more competitive pricing liao.

Klang is still cheap if you are willing to consider brands they hv in their inventory, if you are looking for specified brand and models then be prepared to go with their price which might not be cheapest. It depend on their available supply

So guys, how are your dragons holding and what's the mileage you've clocked so far although i read the treadwear is 400 which should last above 60k km if properly taken care and regularly rotated?

Am on 225/45/18 and has clocked above 30k km, tires are holding up well and wear evenly, Grip has been good on wet & dry (not speed demon though) on my inspira although the car is noisy a bit

mine already traveled >40k km... still hold well in wet roads...

i rotate tyres location every 10k km...

can last me another 20k to 30k KM more..

Will it outlast PS4?
