"The file is possibly corrupt. The file header checksum does not match
the computed checksum."

I tried to install vista on my new rig. when the system try to boot from cd/dvd, the above phrase appears. anyone can help? i tried googled it but got no concrete answer. some say its the ram. but i test my new ram on my frens rig, and it got no problem what so ever. icon_question.gif icon_question.gif

my ram is the culprit. i got serious errors when running mem test. sad.gif

i guess vista is very sensitive to bad hardware unlike xp. sweat.gif sweat.gif

update on my problem. change to new ram. do memtest on my frens system and ram got no problem. try to install vista but still the error occurs. checksum #$%$@#%. cry.gif is it posible the vista dvd corrupt? i google around and found one or two similar problems. or is it my ide hdd? format my ide already. need to use sata hdd is it sweat.gif sweat.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif
