just got my laptop yesterday and it comes with a windows vista home premium. the salesperson asked me to create a recovery disk for safety reason and he taught me how to do it.

problem is everytime i put a dvd in to burn, it will fail during the fail verification process. sometimes i will run to 8% then stop. sometimes it just dont move. i've wasted 5dvds. help me pls

what software used to burn? builtin windows disc tool?

i'm not sure what software. it should be the windows built in burner. i just click 'start' -> all programs -> recover manager -> make recovery disc

then the rest i follow the instruction on screen
