guys i have a weird prolem with my vista ultimate.

I CANNOT access control panel, system properties, windows update also cannot!

i done nothing except windows update for the past few days before.

anyone of u got the same prob like me?

and how to fix it? i got my system restore disabled right after vista was installed lol.

of course after windows update. it seems microsoft gave shitty updates for vista users.

i've search for the problem through the web and they also got the same problem after windows update. so far no solution for it unless to revert using system restore. I disable system restore cuz its useless. i never succeed using it since windows xp. it Restored NOTHING to my system from the 1st day i use XP. simply useless.

yea i dont mind reinstalling vista. In fact thats my only option. I just here to share my problem i u all have encountered and share the resolution if any u have one.

i dont need ANY backup software for any of my systems cuz i know what im doing.

i dont think it's a software conflict. cuz this is related to the system main components, control panel, system properties, not to mention i CANNOT run WINDOWS UPDATE too!

i dont have much software installed in my vista ultimate though. in fact i just use normal application like office 2007 enterprise, some multimedia platers and some games. So im VERY sure it is NOT a software compatibility or some sort. I encountered the problem after i ran windows update.

overall, i think this is somekind of BUG related.

if ur using pirated copy, u CANNOT do windows update! i've been using it for sometime already. oh not to mention that mine is an OEM copy of vista ultimate though.

and the problem is already been solved.

yea that was 4 years back since RYL 1. i play RYL2 now.

didn't do anything to solve it but i just restart the my komp then its ok.

i think it was really a vista BUG related or something. Im not sure myself what caused the prob.

the UAC sure is annoying but u can always turn it off.

i think vista is faster for my day to day normal computing. It starts up damn lot faster than XP, Multitasking LOT better than XP. a gigabyte of memory is nough already. RM160 for a gigabyte of memory though

the bad side is: Few software compatibility, and decreased heavy 3D gaming performance a lil bit..

yep2.. vista is much faster in daily basis computing compared to XP for me.

i agree, installing vista with dual core cpu's will get far better result even u got 1 gig ram only.

microsoft got its own bootloader image called 'Microsoft Corporation.img'.

this loader must be burned at the same time while making the dvd.

i got the bootloader image but will post it out later.
