hmm..mayb can make it higher gua..i think the main thing is the device status..

the speed should not be a factor..coz current hardware is memang not fast enough?? but a slight boost better than no boost ma..

perhaps only the registry key for device status thats stopping drives from being used..

btw..only one cache can be used at 1 time..
i set my ext usb 2.0 drive to 2gb..lolz

i try setting at 10000..still working..hehe

QUOTE
The new Network Map in Windows Vista allows you to easily create a map of all computers on your network and see how they are connected.  This works by using the Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) protocol that is only part of Windows Vista.

To help users of mixed environments of both Windows Vista and Windows XP, Microsoft has released the Link Layer Topology Discovery Responder for Windows XP.  This will make your Windows XP computers show up in the Network Map in Windows Vista.

This package contains the Link Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) responder. The network map on a computer running Windows Vista shows a graphical view of the computers and devices on your network and how they are connected by using the LLTD protocol. The LLTD responder must be installed on a computer running Windows XP before it can be detected and appear on the network map. After you install this item, you may have to restart your computer.

May i know why sometimes i open a video ...
It will pop up a message saying that the color scheme not compatible or watever.
the video can be seen ..

but im not sure if it's compatible ..the color would be nicer..

anyone experience this b4 ?

and im using 7600GS ..i tried to install my driver..
it seems not working(even i run as administrator)..the Vista prefer using Microsoft graphic driver for my OS

Could it be the main reason ??
*
update your codec pack...

it happens bcoz of older codec packs being not compatible with aero..so aero will turn off transparency n revert to vista basic..try release 100 drivers for vista from nvidia.com...

btw, some of aero users will wonder..whats the purpose of having aero glass for the borders of your window..

actually it helps by having transparency effect on the borders...u'll be less distracted and will be concentrating on your task at hand..
(if u have like 5 stacked windows not fully maximised)

and when the window is maximised aero glass will turn into a solid border..that's because if u have maximised the window..u will not be distracted at all as IT IS your only task on hand..

~talk about helpful psychology by microsoft..lolz
~but i would want to have option for perma aero glass..wish they would include that in the nxt update..

2 days ago, there is Windows Vista retail download links posted on some forums. That seems pretty normal as there are people kept on uploading whenever Rapidshare removes them.
*
yes. those are direct retail links from one of microsoft's online retailer but u would still need to activate with a legitimate key. if not after 30 days. EXPIRED. rclxub.gif

KY,
Disable (make it unticked) Animate when window maximised/minimized in the tab for Performance in System Properties.

Control Panel > Advanced System Properties(on the left hand side with a shield) > Performance >Settings.
