I had been trying to find the circuit diagram of the Guyatone PS-021
Guitar Exciter, a very versatile effect made in the 1980s.


It was used by this local Chinese guy in his solo here in the
last song of their final album.

enough to do the Veroboard layout when I asked him.

The NE570 compander IC (compressor-expander) cannot be found
at Pasar Road.

RS Electronics here has it, but only the surface mount version.

Anyone with some basic soldering skills should be able to build it.

Pasar Road should have suitable aluminium boxes and the usual in/out/9V sockets.


Or you could go to those welding workshops in Chan Sow Lin or
Segambut and ask if they can make a suitable box for you.
