I have gotten this little fella from LightInTheBox.com for review.

The weird thing is that this dashcam is a generic dashcam and there isn’t any model name or number on the box or in LightInTheBox page. Only saw P550 in the manual and the firmware version screen. So I’ll call this generic dashcam, the P550.

LightInTheBox product page: P550

Specifications and features list:
• Novatek 96658
• Sony IMX323 sensor
• 1.5 inch Low-Temperature Polysilicon screen
• 140° viewing angle
• Wifi
• Resolution: 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 720, VGA
• Support up to 32GB microSD card.
• WDR
• 250mAh lithium battery

Hi blurjoey, thanks for the review.
I would like to ask, is this dashcam better than Viofo A119s and Viofo A119?
Whats the price of this dashcam and where can I buy?
Are there any promotion running currently for this dashcam?

A119 and A119S are high-end dashcams which cost about US$80-100.

This P550 is considered a budget dashcam. But the P550 video quality is quite clear as it's using Sony IMX323 sensor.

If not mistaken, it's having a 20% off until 26/6 at US$43.99 (about rm188+-) in lightinthebox website...

Hi Blurjoey, i wondering do you have any good recommendation for dashcam that support dual camera such as also able to capture the backseat passenger too? and as well as camera to record behind car as well?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

For grab/uber use? Go for Transcend DrivePro 520.

https://my.transcend-info.com/Products/No-705

The above covers the front and backseat passengers only. You'll need to get another dashcam to record the rear only. Maybe can look at this P550 or DDpai Mini2 or Viofo A118C or Mini0903 to use for the rear.
