My ps2 lense also rosak...but luckily I have the network adapter and hdd and hdloader...I can copy all the games and play it from the hdd.

If you really want to play the ps2...go find network adapter for ps2 and a copmpatible hdd...and your're set to go...just copy and transfer all teh games to the hdd via pc to ps2..(need to really learn as it's a bit tricky at first) and you're set to go...no need for lense at all...since there's freevast or free mcboot around.

They infact have region lock...Let me explain...coz I have a us NA with my JP console...

For u to use it as HDD extension (i.e. HDLoader) ...you can...no issue...but once u try to connect to Internet, you'll receive an error code...check on the PS official boards and you'll know that the code is specifically for of the different region of the NA and PS2...

There are two ways to remedy this...

1. Change the region of your PS2...search the net for teh homebrew software that's capable to do that...It's a bit tricky and may damage your console it done wrongly...

2. Go buy the NA that is teh same as your console region...
