hey, everyone tis is my 1st time post here and i'm not pro on ps2 tech prob i do hv some prob on my ps2 .. ok, here are my ps2 prob currently i'm using ps2 fat model 30004R to play on my samsung lcd b4 tis im using normal tv to play game and when i plug into the lcd playing game for about 10-15min it suddenly black out for like few sec and pop back to normal screen .. why is like that ya ? izit bcoz my ps2 old cant support lcd and the other prob is i did using component cable on lcd and it working find then the next day i wanted to play game on my lcd again using the same component cable but tis time the prob is suddenly cant use the component cable ady coz notting pop out on the screen then i tot etc my ps2 output hv prob or the cable prob but when i switch back to normal red, yellow, white cable and everything is find back to normal and i try again to use back the component cable is still the same prob notting on the screen .. izit my component cable spoil ady or why like that ya ... ? btw, which is the best ps2 slim model series rite nw ..

guys, since i hv some prob on my old ps2 fat model 30004R when using component cable which is the 5 cable line gree,blue,white and 2 red do u tis i should get another ps2 slim or fat .. if yes, which is the best model to use I want the model with the least problems (bad laser, overheating, etc.) or the one that dont give me any problems, that would be great ..

take whichever that is available. it is already stable. no more production. fast fast buy.

but i scare buy the wrong model.. i saw someone selling scph- 77000W 2nd hand is tis model ok ah and do u noe hw much new ps2 selling nw..

Guys need some inputs here...

After a long time didn't on my PS3, now when it boots up it says "HDMI detected do you want to switch to HDMI" so I said yes.

After that blank screen.

I tried;

- swapping HDMI cables.
- changing TV's

Same prob...is my HDMI port died?

i need help. my ps2 games ccant detect the 32mb card.but in browser it detects.sum1 pls help me

use original memory card.

oh ok...so the conclusion is the ps2 cant use 3rd party memory rite?

3rd party memory card can be used, but durability and reliability unknown especially those with sizes higher than the original 8MB
