Hi guys, I'm Jason . I been reading the post from V2 , damn tired and it really takes me alot time to read it.. I din even spent this much time on my studies.. I'm really interested in rearing SG, But i think not that fast.. Currently , have only 1 Bearded Dragon .. But 1 thing to tunjuk from u guys , did u all SG owner travel alot ? Coz I quite often, which is not really often to travel. I always need to carry my 2 feet tank all the way to my home town, but of coz by car la.. if not, doh.gif doh.gif headache..

But now , straight away get another 3 feet tank to place at my home town.. its damn much convenient rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

Lastly , Nice TO mEet u all~~

No la , I'm jst travel from kl - Melaka only.. So do they really need to live in cage?? Coz if they really need that , then i might jst think twice b4 getting them , if not , try not to go back to home town .. Or worst come to worst , bring the cage along (get a not-so-big cage) sweat.gif sweat.gif ..

1 thing to know , how much u guys paid for the initial cost? ( including cage , the coconut house, pouch, ... etc) .. I got my BD on Dec last year, it cost me around Rm 400 ... Pocket straight away bocor cry.gif cry.gif I jst worried the initial cost, the maintence should be alright.. Oh ya , 1 more thing, regarding the calsium and vitamin stuff, can it share with my BD's 1 ( JXL-Micro calsium , Vit) ? The SG can share the worms and cricket with my BD.. rclxm9.gif rclxm9.gif

As usual lah, initial cost when getting a new pet, can burn a hole in your pocket, but that's why research is important. If you can get all the info, and find all the stuffs needed for a suggie at a reasonable price, you and your suggie can definitely be happy smile.gif Basically it can range from RM350 above (including suggie).

As for the vitamin & calcium part, I'm not so sure, better let Hun handle that tongue.gif

Use travelling cages loh. Many websites have said that if you travel short term like a few days only, you can use a hamster cage as a travelling cage for them. Personally, I like the Flexarium better... you can get that at Pet Safari or Pets Wonderland petstores, RM100 can get the smallest one. Easy to assemble whenever you wanna use.

I'll definitely get it from u if i own it in future, and thanks for the price list that u have listed down..

CrazymOuse: U have BD rights? Is it the BD shit is smelly or the SG is more smelly ? Then , do SG really poo and pee oftenly ? 3 times a day?

Another thing is . how do the shit look like ? Can someone snap a picture on it? Coz wat i heard from u guys saided, it always "doing biz" on we all , so i jst wondering that let said bring them out , then they shit on us , wat u all will do ? Jst left it for "decoration" laugh.gif laugh.gif or always bring extra shirt when hanging out with them?

Sorry to have so much Qs.. I jst want to know more about them and hope you all will share the experience with us .. thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

@ jason_killer : sg poop look likes cicak one but a bit bigger but no white colour laa ..

[quote=krynzpeaches,Apr 12 2007, 04:05 PM]

Jason, suggie poops are like lizard's or rat's poop, rarely smells one. However, smell or not, soft or hard, depends on their diet... Mine if eat ciku or jambu air, the poop will become soft... If they poop on you, you can just pick it up and throw it, unless it is soft lah smile.gif

Yah... well, BD is worst than SG. Said before mah, SG no smell but their pee and males are musky. They poo and pee often, more than 3 times lah.

Their shit looks like hamster poo lah. If we kena the poo then take tissue to wipe off lah... what is so hard with that?
Hahaha.... yah.... my ear cleaning glider.... she will clean noses and belly buttons too if given a chance.... and my dog's mouth... ewwww....
