wanna ask for opinion.... i have a tamed female which is 1 years old, and laterly i have a baby bout 3 month old male. is it ok for me to mix them in a cage? (it seems that they are ok with it., but sometimes the male is so aggresive until my female scare him. she rather didn't want to sleep in the coconut when the male is angry.) haha...

QUOTE(sangterap @ Apr 28 2007, 03:36 PM) Hi there, the 3 months old baby is the female's baby or u bought from somewhere? You see, the young male thinks that the 1 year old female is the mother that is why trying to cling on her like how when they were young. If this baby male is her baby, in-breeding may happen which is hight not recommended. And later on if u decide to separate them after bonding, it will be very stressful for them Good Luck nope. is not her baby. i bought the male, tot to give her company. but it seems that my female is very scare on the male. hehe. as long as th male is angry, she will run out from the coconut and hide somewhere else. haha...

btw, have to consider your working place as well. last time i work as pet & aquarium seller in a mall, so bringing them together when working is nothing serius, even if they are awaken. i can play with them (my suggie), and my boss is nothing because it will attract more people to the stall. if you work in office, u may consider wether ur boss allow you to handle them when u are working, and also you collegue, wether they scare/dislike animal or not. etc....

hey hey, anyone have any special technic to tame the glider? haha... the male i having is already bout half years staying with my 'fatty' (my female glider), but till now also his emotion is not stable yet. sometimes he will try to run away whenever i open the cage's door, sometimes he will not even let me touch him, but sometimes he will let do anything to him without any noise. huh..... (luckily the fatty is a good girl. haha...)

ya. to me, usually i will go shop look look got what type of pet, then when seen one i like, will go home, online, search info, and see.... can handle or cannot handle, then decide to rre or not. haha.... oo.. vincent09, no lah. just my male seems not so tame with me. he even sometimes see me, he will make sound. and now, during night time when every one asleep, the male will bark. haha... my mum always say,'ur son bark at night. very loud, like a puppy.' haha.... my female is funny, and playful. (is not nice to hold their tail, but mine cause from small i do it to her, that is when ever she try to run away, i will hold her tail). now holding her tail be one of her entertainment. she will always do do run, and i will hold her tail, and she will stop, then reverse, and stand with her 2 legs when she reach the place i holding her and look at me. haha.... and she is ok for me to hold, cuddle etc. she will not make any voice, and only will bite when she never get what she want. haha....anyway, she saw her cage, she will jump and run to it, climb around, hide behind the cage.

mm... i dunno is good or bad giving them a bath, since sometimes they really became smelly (because of a stupid small mammal food i get from a shop with cheap price n now i seldom let them eat.). i will use warm water to wet them, then put on soap (the one tat i using), and wash with warm water again. and dry them as soon as possible after that with cloth. (but only bath them on body, not head. and mostly do it on a hot noon or evening) and then, wrap them with the cloth. cut the nail (very very careful). and dry them again with another dry cloth. and put them back to the cage which been 'big' cleaned. and reward them with fruits. (mostly fruit like strawberry or grape or other fruits tat i seldom give them or sometimes honey.)
