Hun, I've tried the pulling-off-head method you've taught me and still Shurie doesn't seem interested in the worm at all. She kept looking the other way whenever I show her the headless worm.

I've tried. She really seemed like she has a grudge against them or something. She kept turning away whenever I place the worm in front of her.

Hun, the that breeder specialises in colors just like what nezu is doing with her gerbils
Really geram see the many2 colors they have But the price And they really take care of the feeding, that's why they look chubby & healthy. You can check out some pixs during preparing and feeding the food, really luxurious Snowcandy, mebbe can try again with the mealworm when she a bit big. KP |

QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ May 10 2007, 09:46 AM) Hun, the that breeder specialises in colors just like what nezu is doing with her gerbils Heheh... I know Really geram see the many2 colors they have But the price And they really take care of the feeding, that's why they look chubby & healthy. You can check out some pixs during preparing and feeding the food, really luxurious Snowcandy, mebbe can try again with the mealworm when she a bit big. KP The food they prepare is really good. To top it up, they do have good glider supplements and glider products. So naturally the gliders there will have a stocky built. Actually, our gliders also can be like that buttttttt...... it is by feeding loads of sun flower seeds which is really bad. So I think it is better if we give a healthy diet and have a lean glider lah. Ours also considered healthy. As long got some supplement intake, then they will stay healthy just like those overseas. My holidays will be in 2 weeks time.... so I got time to experiment more on new glider treats heheheh.... |

QUOTE(krynzpeaches @ May 10 2007, 10:28 AM) Oh yah, I forgot Yah, the multivitamin is tempting to get... hahha... yah, I agree. Maybe we can purchase in bulk and begin to feed our gliders proper stuff. Hmm... I wonder if I got friends going to Australia or not.... Oh wait!!!! I got friends studyingin Australia hahaha.... maybe I can ask them to grab some nectar and pollen for me. Heheheh.... but they will be the parrot variety coz got some parrots that have to eat nectar...Fuhh, looking at the food they gave, damn nice right? Yeah, plus with the supplement summore... Haha, if can get the powdered complete glider multivitamin in bulk, then mebbe pack smaller packs for glider owners here I think Iggy is fat! Hahaha Ohh, new food! Treats and mix I presume KP I'm gonna grab some hibiscus flowers to let Kiah have some fun. Something natural and safe to consume heheheh. Ah, you feed good stuff to Iggy, sure lah become chubbier and healthier. It is true, a healthy happy glider will have a very fluffy tail and a rounded body. Yah, treats and mixes heheheh.... see lah what I can come up with. Soon will give free samples again to test it. I may try jelly treats.... but must know if gliders eat jelly or not hahahah. |

I think they feed a lot on eggs, chicken and worms. I ask the petglider lady before, she said at least 10-15 worms each glider.....then also i think maybe because the weather there got cold weather...so i think that's why they need to be slightly fat to keep warm...Lately the weather here in Malaysia also so hot...i turn on my fan whole day for them just in case they cannot tahan the heat....ahhaha.... Anyway, I tried feeding them the monkey biscuits and the cereal...they lick lick lick but i think no taste.hahaha....i think i pampered them too much for fresh food now dried food don't want liao...even the sunflower seed also hardly take...but i mixed the powder multimvitamins in the fresh fruits..totally habis everything.....heheheh Last night eowyn was so naughty, after feeding her worms...she will do her normal rounding around my living room..but this time..she is so naughty...she went hiding somewhere and i tried looking for her for 1 hour...cannot find...worried like crazy..... Then finally when i was about to give up...found her at one corner of the curtain... This post has been edited by cheaka: May 10 2007, 10:55 AM |

Yes, I notice that they include alot of mealworms and egg and meat. Lately the weather here in Malaysia also so hot...i turn on my fan whole day for them just in case they cannot tahan the heat....ahhaha.... Oh, try this... the monkey biscuits and cereal, what you can do is soak them abit with apple juice. It may tempt your gliders to try it out since it will smell fruity. Aiyoh, have to go look for 1 hour.... Once I was also like that with Kiah... now it's like a normal thing. Sometimes Kiah is stubborn so won't answer me when I call her name... but sometimes she is good and will come running to me after I call her. |

Fluffy, fluffy tail Cheaka, when I was back hometown, lagi damn hot. I mandi like 4-5 times a day. My husband was the one who switch one the fan and direct it to Iggy's cage. He scared Iggy so hot. Infact when we go out also, leave the fan on for him. Also, he normally sleep like a ball, but because so hot he sleep all 4 legs up and outstretched They ate the multivitamin Haha, kesian Eowyn, kena marah, ofcourse scared until pee-pee KP |

And a few regulations like your cage size and stuff have to follow. As only the zoo in australia are allowed to import/export/sell sugar glider from what i was told by an Aussie based in Melbourne. Sort of chat with them before online. Very nice people. I saw their cage setup. I pun malu man for my cage....They ate the multivitamin Haha, kesian Eowyn, kena marah, ofcourse scared until pee-pee KP My books arrived!!!!.... Yes, in Australia must have a permit to breed and keep gliders... but then they are very strict. Even in Singapore now.... breeders must be approved and registered by AVA... anyway, they don't have gliders legally in Singapore, a few are sold in the black market... |

Thank god we have it good in Malaysia then. I love my SGs to bits, like holding them when they sleep
Will anybody be free in the first week of June? I am going on a trip for about 5 days and am looking to a Glider sitter to take care of them. |
