Yay! Kiah had her 1st night in her cage... I made her a deep sleeping box using empty tissue box and a piece of card board... she loves sleeping in there hahaha... then she go and climb and jump on her hammock.... but then she really miss being a free range glider so now she is free in my room again.... maybe the cage will only be for her sometimes lah.

This morning, somehow when he pooped, he accidently grabbed one with his foot, the he went climbing all over the notice board smearing his poop and then jumped to me and smeared some onto my shirt too Aiyohh, have to work with poop smeared shirt today... And had to clean the board too

Hun, can we see the difference in a male or female joey? Male joey can already see their jewel or not?? Haihh, how the seller like that...

I kind of feel bad on sumitup thingy...
Here's the case...
Glider : Haruhi
We taught : he's a female...
Until : during exchange time, I get it from my friend who has the glider, when he's tame a bit...I double checked and saw his testicles (which is so friggin small for such a big glider...)
So I called sumitup and cancel the exchange.

thus the glider sumitup has in hands was basically a male which suppose to exchange with Haruhi as we mistakenly think he was a she.

u can see on the tummy (I define it at the pusat perut) whether there's a pouch or a ball.. just flick it thro to check it...

sumitup gliders are super well fed and their fur texture is really thick and furry... so I suggest that u go to a secluded place to check the gliders properly. They are a bit wild and crabby tho

Well, don't think it has anything to do with you then. He should know lah that the one he has is a male. Then why he give male to people who wants female??

Anyway, he should know male or female since he's selling them according to gender summore...

Hi, my pregnant sugar glider has gave birth to 2 little baby SG, they always stay and hide in their mommy pouch... wondering what i should feed them and when to start... ??

By giving birth, do you mean OOP (out of pouch)?

Cuz suggies give birth to a small joey as big as a bean and they will stay in the pouch for about 6-8 weeks, then they OOP.

They can only take solid food after they are fully weaned from the mother, until then they still get milk from mommies pouch. I'm not sure whether can give the mix or not right after they OOP... That have to ask Hun

It is easy to see male and female joeys... you must look closely, use your finger to search for the pouch around the tummy.... males will have this little small nib that looks like a little cherry... hahah... that is a male loh.... female just have a U shape slit.... that's the pouch.

If joeys are wild, can still handle wan.... When I got Chiwek, he was wild hahaha.... but manage to tame him abit before hand to hamster9 lah...

All joeys that are from suppliers will be WILD coz the suppliers do not give human interaction to them, causing them to still be afraid and act defensive....

I still think Sumitup must learn how to sex properly... I just wonder how many "females" became males


They will stay in the pouch coz their mother's milk is inside mah.... so you do not need to worry about anything. You do not need to feed them yet, let Mother Nature run its course. Once the joeys are old enough, they will venture out of the pouch to explore. When they start to explore away from mom, only then you can touch them and hold them. Intro fruits and glider mix. When they are older, can intro mealworms but right now, just let the mother glider handle it.

Suddenly I also recall that last time the person I got Iggy from, said that Iggy is a female, then when I said, too bad, I want a male, then he said, ehh how to know male or female After much explaining, he said he thinks Iggy is male. When I went to get Iggy, can see sooooo clear his jewel cuz he's already adult what Dunno how he could have missed it...

lol...i think u should see the glider for urself..very hard to notice the balls unless he is really tame and allow u to rub his tummy. visually u can't see it... the fur is really thick and the balls is so small... my bad

Last night I gave up on Eowyn's eagerness...once I open up the cage door..she jump straight to my shoulder..then have a couple of worms...then she is off to explore my living room again....

So this time..I gave up on her..let her go...I used to get really worried as in where she will dissapear to.....

I was then feeding Frodo and Gollum....after like 45 minutes of her roaming around...she finally come back....
