Tail more fluffy, I think it could be the added sweet potato.... or grooming. Coz after bathing my gliders, sure will have fluffy tails.

But it is good that Frodo is back to normal.

Pumpkin and sweet potato are good for easy digestion as well high in fiber. Now you can add a bit of fruits too.

Pity, many suppliers and commercial breeders are letting joeys go at 3 to 4 weeks OOP only.... they really do need milk. Kiah was I think 4 or 5 weeks OOP when I got her, I freaked out every day for the first 2 months.... she also had a milk diet for 1 month before going on my mix. Can say 18 hours always on my body for warmth, at night in her incubator with heat lamp.... realy risky to get glider that young.

Hobbyist breeders not many.... if got also they only have 2 for sell about once or twice a year if they have only 1 pair lah....

Anyway, glider spa? Well, dunno when I'll be free loh.... let me settle for a week 1st since just started new sem at college hahah.

Getting a glider takes time.... if you get from LYN members, do check the size.... many sell them underage.

hackerzx,
read back the previous page, got pictures on how to see a healthy joey and an underage joey.

sense_less143,
Bathing glider, must do the bath and drying in 1 minute.... coz longer and it can cause the glider to become sick... needs skill heheheh. Still best is you use a wet cloth to wipe the fur, then get the pet powder.....
You can get hold of New Age Dog Puppy Grooming Powder, sold at Pet Safari for RM18.... safe and smells nice too.

Hahaha... mothers in law.... LOL

Anyway, just got them. Can see they have a different look.... got fuzzy tails and their tails are slightly shorter than normal gliders, with round faces. Anyway, both are very active so you guys get ready for hyper joeys lah heheheh.

Har.... Let go Peachu? That's sad....

sense_less143
Wah... so how? Better let me know your decision.... Age gap... yah, a problem but then it can make you bond with the new joey. Putting Peachu with a Wasabi, then Peachu won't bond much since there is already a glider friend.... well, think first lah.

Hahah.... Ok.... so tomorrow still on right? Anyway, I dunno how you wanna let go after you see the little joey tomorrow.

Well, yah, introducing a young female that is not fully matured is risky but then possible to take care. Also, do take down my price, coz I do not like my price to be up in the forum as other sellers may not like it.

OK, here are some nice pictures of 2 joeys that Caren and sense_less143(hopefully) will get.
hackerzx, your joey's pic will be up once it is ready coz still small and young.

These 2 got nice fuzzy tails and are piggies when it comes to milk and fruits. Both a bit crabby but then they are just hyper.

Luna and Iggy back with KP hehehe.... had fun babysitting them but having 7 gliders in my room is really not an easy task hahaha. All the crabbing and hissing. But thankfully everything turned out well.

Short face, wider head.... this could be another strain of gliders since I notice got the longish face and shorter face, tail length also a bit different.

Yups.... 7 weeks is too young loh actually, but then they are doing well with the milk I'm feeding them. So those who are taking the joeys from me, must get a packet of Pets Own milk from Pet Family, around Rm6.80 only.

Gawd.... I feel like a nanny, caring for some cry babies hahahah.

The Joeys are really adorable man!
But Joey B seems to be more active,
climbing around hun's hand.

Cant wait to get my glider!
Oh her name would be
CHLOEY!!! tongue.gif

Talking about breeding as in your experience is ok.... but pairing is a no no. Swapping is ok but no discussions of swapping for breeding. Do so in PM.

HAhah... I was just about to say Flying Fox is a giant bat.

Starting with a joey is the best, doesn't matter male or female. But do not get a joey that is too young, death or sickness is possible. Start with 1, after 2 to 3 months, get another. If you get 2 at once, harder to bond properly.

You can bring them anywhere but never never let it roam freely in a car or room or in a strange place when it is not bonded to you. You may end up crying later. Just get a bonding pouch and keep the joey inside during the day and then socialize with it at night. You would also need proper nutrition for the joey as well.

You would need a large cage, read the 1st page and do more research on this.

Yes, young joeys can easily get stress with strange people... but bonded joeys and bonded gliders are ok with socializing with others.

Hahaha... food is halal lah LOL

Anyway, your joeys, you need to take time. Now of course takut lah, dunno you guys that much. Slowly intro your hand and feed. You can use a spoon or syringe. Make sure the milk is warm. You can warm it over a fire or candle light hahaah.... candle slower but better. As in place the bowl with the milk on top of a tea light... or anything lah, as long not microwave.

Happy to see them go to good homes. Hope you guys can update pictures on and off lah hahaha.

The milk is from cow but it has lactase enqyme, making it tolerable for animals that are sensitive to lactose. Safe wan lah hahahah.

Spend lots of time with her, soon she will be bonded and will want you always heheheh.
