I intend to buy a PMP mp4 player. Does it need AP?
I might order from HK, price is below 500.
Taxable? I will ask them ship to my office. Can I declare as sample unit?

Just curious,
1) Meaning by not over Rm500? Even if the item is not taxable but the amount I paid is more than 500 so what kind of tax will I be imposed? 2) How should I pay tax, let say the good import is taxable. So do I just go to customer during the arrival and declare the tarif code to the custom and the goods value? So the goods value include shipping? What if the custom doesn't now agree with the tarif code I given? Regarding the tax declaration, how should i need to do? The shipper side will help me to declare or I need to go to custom and declare my self. Any appointed agent where I can apply and how much will they charge per trasnsaction. 3) Under what conditions, AP or import license is required? I tried to buy some dolls from china in buck and was adviced by my shipping company that I need AP or import license to bring those goods. So does it apply to those MC mark for those softtoys? 4) How many is consider self use or gift? |

Hi i managed to track my item, stuck at custom - high value goods, PPL Johor Bahru.
Also received a letter from custom required to prepared 4 copies of Borang Kastam 1 and the invoice goods declaration. My item is about 300 plus USD including shipment. I understand it might tax. Ok, I just want my item and pay tax. Problem is I not at JB but in Muar. So suppose I go pay tax and declare my items? Go to post laju office in muar? Regarding the tax payment, so my appointed agent will help to fill up all those particulars and advice as well? And how I know how much tax will I required to pay and how should I pay. My items are wool and knitting accessories for self use hobby. Any advice on handy craft or textile taxes? Thanks for any advice and comments. I went to my pejabat pos laju, I told him my barang stucked at PPL JB he just asked me to called custom side. Nvm just called to custom as what the letter indicated, the guy just asked me to fax them the invoice and IC with the letter reference. I not sure my seller did include any information in the parcel or not. So still need to wait the seller confirmation. What if seller nv declare the item or declaration is lower than my purchase amount. Can I make my own invoice? Do I need some others supporting document like my paypal transaction. Another question is, I declared to them as carded wool (just as in the tarrif code), will they understand or refer to the tarif code? or i just provide them the tarif code number together with my item catalog?
