im confuse... the delivery from overseas to malaysia will go under Pos Malaysia?

last time i order a thick book, it was deliver to my house not under pos malaysia. i forgot how the lady in US delivery it. maybe private courier? so i was wondering private courier do not go through pos malaysia? because the item was infront of my door without any letter asking me to take it at any pos malaysia. but i found out there is a hole under the box. maybe books no tax?

second item, was 3 dvd, this one i received the red card asking to collect at pos malaysia, it was at miri pos office. but then the person who incharge let me go, because the kastam people not back from lunch yet funny, he ask me run but make it like walking LOL!

y 3 package no receive ?

hey. hope u dun mind me asking, i intend to get a tiffany sterling ballpoint pen from ebay, if the item reach malaysia, wil they be detained by the kastam? cos i really worry if they do as i dun have tht time to go all the way there or the transport let alone

the total amount will not b more than $100 though

Is there any proof or document showing item's value below RM 500 is non-taxable??

I ordered 3 bluray dvds from amazon and it's about RM 400+.

I remembered last year i ordered 1 bluray dvd less than RM 200 and the bloody customs tax me 40% + 10% service!

Since I read so many forumers here saying below RM 500 is not taxable, how do I "remind" the custom officers?
